The paint colors were as described. No substitutions. I checked every bottle, none were dry or hard to open. I would recommend purchasing from this seller.

Solid price for a hard to.find paint set, sometimes you can find it at stores but flat model paint is getting hard to find that is not all gloss options

Overall, I'm pleased with the paints, they're Testor's acrylic paints in small jars. The thing that's a little frustrating is that they're marketed as "spraying acrylics" and the box even says that "no thinning required". Well, that's not "quite" the case. I also purchased Testor's Aircraft Finishing Paint Set, which comes with three paint brushes (so one could assume these are not airbrush ready per se). and to my surprise some of these paints have the EXACT same part numbers as some of the colors that are included in the airbrush set. Ultimately, it's not a huge deal . . . I've used these acrylics for airbrushing in the past and they work great (but they do need to be diluted). I didn't expect some of the colors to be the exact same product as other non-airbrush versions - one claiming to be ready for airbrushing and the other supplied with paint brushes. It's definitely not the fault of the seller, but it's probably more an attempt by Testors to market the same product to two different customer groups. Although I never spray any paints through my airbrush without first thinning, the only difference I can see in the "Spraying Acrylics" kit and standard Testors acrylic jars, is that the "Spraying Acrylics" kit has a picture of a Testors airbrush on the box and makes the statement "For best results use a Testor sprayer". Otherwise, they seem to be the exact same acrylics you can buy individually, or in other non-airbrush ready kits . . . at least according to the part numbers on the bottles.

You never go wrong buying testers. I have been using their products forever and have never been disappointed. Great value at a great price.

I loved these acrylic paints, and would advise you to be careful when using these models on compressed air can airbrushing. Follow the instructions to mount the paint on the airbrush, and always clean your airbrush after each use. And if your nozzle is clogged, clean it with the included wire cleaner. And make sure not to knock this bottle over by accident, because this stuff is hard to get out of carpet unless you get a lot of soap and water to clean it. That being said, I have a piece of advice after you put one of these paints on your model, use gloss clear coat so that your decals will go on without removing the paint job you spent hours doing (I now use spray paint cans because of this experience).
