If you mean a telescope, you could place two of this lenses in a tube about 28 inch apart, with a magnification of about 2.5, so it just work as a demo, not a practical telescope. **Q: are they labeled, like which one is concave and which one is convex?** A: They are not labeled, but the convex lenses are thicker in the center, with thinner edges. The concave lenses have thinner centers and thicker edges. **Q: Could I use these to magnify the image from a cheap movie projector?** A: Has not been tested for that application, feel free to give it a shot though; if optical lenses do that, then these are optical lenses. **Q: Would these work to make a simple refracting telescope??** A: In theory yes, but please be careful in reviewing focal length ratios to ensure that the tube length is reasonable. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great *by M***E on March 17, 2026* Quick shipping, good product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy and safe *by L***N on May 29, 2025* Great lenses for straightforward, simple optics experiments. Sturdy enough to not worry that folks will break them. Polished edges keep fingers safe. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice glass lenses *by R***E on October 11, 2025* Nice glass lenses, just not what I was wanting. I was looking for bow scope lenses and these showed up in my search. I ordered by mistake. Received them the next day. Nice clear lenses but focal length too short. I returned them immediately. ## Frequently Bought Together - EISCO 6pc Optical Lens Set, 2" (50mm) Diameter - 3 Double Convex Lens & 3 Double Concave Lens - 200mm, 300mm, 500mm Focal Lengths - Optically True Glass - Ground, Beveled Edges - Amlong Crystal Premium Optical Glass Double Convex and Concave Lens Set, 50mm Diameter, 3 Double Convex (20, 30, 50cm FL) and 3 Double Concave (20, 30, 50cm FL), 6 Piece Set - United Scientific MCVSET Glass Mirror Set, 6 Pieces --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.it/products/2239158-eisco-6pc-optical-lens-set-2-50mm-diameter-3-double](https://www.desertcart.it/products/2239158-eisco-6pc-optical-lens-set-2-50mm-diameter-3-double) --- *Product available on Desertcart Italy* *Store origin: IT* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
