Is it OK to give this to cats?

My cat has been on antibiotics off and on for months because of bladder infections. She is 16 years old and only drinks bottled water that is delivered to the house. He didn't want to put her back on antibiotics again so he put her on Cananidin, 1/4 one time a day. She is no longer crying, so I think they are working.

I got 41 pills for $43. she only takes 1/2 a pill daily as she only weighs 18 lbs..these would last almost 3 months. is that a deal.

Last time I purchased Nutramax Crananidin I purchased at Amazon 75 chewable tablets for 55.67 plus tax. My dog weights 13 pounds so she only takes 1/2 tablet daily and the 75 count last me 150 days. Average cost around $0.39. I checked and Amazon is currently offering it at $49.oo up to $53.00 (multiple sellers). Before buying from Amazon I was getting them at my vet's office and paid much more. Use what you currently have and shop for your next purchase. So far I found Amazon to be the cheapest.

It says store in a cool dry place, is room temperature okay such as 70 degrees Fahrenheit?

I think what that mean is don't keep in places like the bathroom. When Your shower it gets hot and moist. It can ruin the vitamins or medications that you have. So don't store in there. I think it would be safe maybe in the bedroom somewhere in the kitchen in the cupboard We're children can't get to it.I think 70° is going to be okay .

What is the shelf life for a bottle?

Each bottle has its own expiration date. I purchase a bottle of 75 on auto delivery for one of my dogs that has a history of UTIs. I give her one tablet daily and she finishes each bottle well before exp date. Also dosage on bottle is according to their weight so depending on how much your dog weighs you could use 1, 2 or 3 tabs a day. I do highly recommend this product. It has cut way down on trips to vet and antibiotics.
