Company doesn’t provide standard solution for initial calibration of the meter. Customer has to presume that it’s giving authentic results. Or else one is required to compare the tests results of glucometer with some authentic lab testing reports.

After researching different sellers (over the counter and online) as well as despite of seeing few negative reviews around poor packaging, damaged package or product; I decided to buy this from Amazon. Amazon lived upto my expectation. The product was well packed inside sturdy box with bubnle wrap. The glucometer was sealed with Roche seal. This Accu-Check Guide glucometer came with 10 strips and lancets that helped using this product immediately. This product is very fast, displays BS reading within seconds. It comes with bluetooth connectivity and sends reading to connected mobile immediately, thus it helps view and manage all past blood sugar reading in app and see the trends. I would recommend this product.

This accu-chek guide is just perfect, its accurate, easy to use, everything is good quality, searched a lot and guess what , this product is dominating the market, not because of anything else but accuracy it provides is amazing, it is able to connect with a good app which can keep your whole track record. Really satisfied with it!!! Yes its bit expensive but worth it. It can also used to take HbA1c test.

The product and their app MySugr is waste. I threw both away. The buttons on the device are too small. Maybe kids can operate it LOL! First of all the signup is too long. Asking for too many permissions and too many details . My astrological details and DNA is the only thing that it did not ask. And after this long signup I see that I have to pay 99 per month just to export my readings into PDF/Excel which is free for other brands. I have bought a product which has automation and I'm paying for the strips and lancets. Why should I pay just to export reading? If an automated product cannot export reading(and I have to pay monthly just to get my reading to the doctor) what good is it? I just threw away to save this ripoff . If there is -1 star I would've given and thrown it on their face. Third class. I wonder which buffoon in their company designed this product strategy. He/she should be fired to save the company. Learn from BeatO how a product is to be made.

The device works really great and paired with my phone easily. The strips and lancets can be on costlier end compared to other devices but these strips are made in Germany and have good repeatablity. I tested two strips back to back from same blood drop and the variation was of just 2 units (I've seen used One Touch in past that had variation of +/- 50 which is IMHO worthless). The cost of each test comes around 25-30 Rs. (excluding cost of machine itself). As per other reviews, the strips can become scarce so better to stock them up. There is a neat feature of LED light illumination when trying to test in low light and a push to eject strips so that you'd not have to touch the strips with blood on it and directly eject the strips in the dust bin. The only con I can think of is that the mySugr app, that is used by this machine and the machine itself, does not allow multiple profiles and therefore, it can be used by only one person to track their sugar levels. In case of multiple members using the same machine, the average values will be of no use. Also, there is an option in the mySugr app to calculate HbA1c but it requires 21 tests in 7 days which would mean that the HbA1c report would cost you around 600 Rs. Apart from that, it's a reliable

Product is good....but most of the strips show error ...and thts the expensive part of it...I had to use 4 strips to get a reading without error and pierced myself the same amount of time...and guide strips are expensive compared to others!

This is certainly an excellent device and I ordered a new one for my mother in law, however it never said if the measurement.is in mmol or mdgl, does anyone know how you can change in the setting from mdgl to mmol?

Since I received the device I followed all the steps but the device keep showing E1 error even if I change the sample several times to e same error exists . Not recommend at all

The results come faster and it is more user friendly. Needs less blood as sample. I have used Accu Chek Active for long time. Until now there seemed to be no issues but just wanted to try a new one and it has proven to be better choice. Strips are little expensive.
