So I needed it to keep up with them! It's smaller than most books and has a paper cover that is lighter weight paper than I expected. Both sides of the paper have a design on it. I usually don't buy a book if it has that. You need to becareful or your markers, gel pens etc will bleed onto the back side. Some of the designs are so tiny I had to get a magnifying glass! When I try to get a page out of the book I have to be very careful or the pages will rip. Now for the good stuff. This book is very challenging and I love that! You need to be very observant of the design before you start on it. The finished designs are awesome even my husband commented on how cool they looked. Said they reminded him of the 70's! I've enjoyed the challenge after becoming bored with some of my other books that I still love! I would recommend this book for yourself or a gift. Just remember you need fine tipped pens or pencils... Very fine tipped.
