It lasted for quite a while! I teach K-8 and kr lasted through many many many uses in our classroom, however I really only had it from August to January. I’m on month 6 and it will still spin, but the sharpening speed is very slow and has gotten to where it is dulled and does not sharpen the pencils. I’ve taken it apart and given up. This is a great design and easy to store, I just wish it lasted through the entire scoop year.

If I could rate this 10 stars it still wouldn’t be enough! I’m a middle school teacher, and their mission in life is to destroy pencil sharpeners. Twice now I’ve emptied the shavings and there have been metal scraps from where the kids put the back end of the pencil in there. The sharpener did not yield! It did not break! Middle schoolers have met their match

Does it’s supposed to do. No issues at all. Works fine after my kids found every pencil they could to sharpen. Works fast

Sharpens pencils, seems durable after a few uses and easy to use. It's not quiet, but not any louder than the sharpener I am replacing. Was a good value for the item.
