Helped my swing a lot, but not that durable - I really like this mat. It does what it’s supposed to. I’ve been using it everyday for about 2 weeks. The white painted lines overlayed on the velvet material do start to wear almost immediately. I didn’t have super high hopes for this, based on reviews and price (not that $30 for a piece of velvet tacked to a rubber doormat is a bargain - but respectively), but I can say I’m satisfied with my purchase. So far the green velvet material has held up well after daily use. I was able to correct an out to in swing issue I was encountering and helped me with ball first contact. It hasn’t ripped as it has for some. I personally didn’t have any issue hitting balls off it (balls rolling off may). However, when I do hit balls off of it I do so very sparingly. I try to use clean golf clubs, use it indoors or in a clean area in my yard and I try to simply skim the surface in order to see the shape/orientation/start of the divot I would be creating. So far it’s done exactly what I hoped it would. It has gotten some dirt stains on it that sort of mat the velvet, but I used a little diluted dish soap and it came right out and back to the original appearance. It’s not a perfect product, but I think if you treat it with a little care it should last and help you for some time. Review: It’s Velvet - Well like most golfers, I find ball striking challenging. Hit it fat or thin, face open/closed, toe or heel hits are easily identified, verified with this device. However, it is made of velvet and not meant to be used as an ordinary practice mat. It will not stand up to thousands of shot for weeks on end. They say the surface is replaceable but mine is still pretty new so I haven’t looked into it. After each stroke, you have to brush the nap back to “reset” the surface. I found it more difficult to do it with just the club I’m holding. Easier to use your hand if it’s not too challenging to reach the ground. The bottom line is that the device works and the price is about what I expected for this device. If you are inconsistent in getting pure contact striking the ball this could help. ## Features - Package Includes: 1 * Impact golf mat ,1 * Instruction .Do not include golf balls and golf tees. - Excellent Structures : The rubber backing of bottom layer provides excellent grip, the rubber foam padding of middle layer has great shock absorption performance, the premium fabric of top layer resistant to tear and wear. It works best when you secure the edges, using golf ties in each corner, to hold the mat down. When hitting off of the mat, the user stands on the normal ground at address. **Q: Is the a replacement mat available when this wears down?** A: Mine ripped up at the front end and I had to Gorilla glue it down. Other than that it's okay. I have a tendantcy to take big divots when I play so I abuse this device more than others. **Q: How thick is the mat?** A: Matt is about 1/2 inch thick and cover is over that. Cover is fairly strong. I have had student hitting off board for over a month --- no damage **Q: Is the small the 13x17?** A: No that is the medium. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what it’s supposed to. Happy to report that (at least for so far) my mat has stood up to my fat shots and mishits. I can't get over how impressed I am with this simple, yet effective swing training aid. My iron shots have always been problematic to the point where I was considering converting to fairway woods and hybrids. But on my first day of using this mat, the feedback was immediate and enabled me to really work on correcting my swing path's lowpoint. In only a week of using this mat there was a noticeable improvement with my irons. I have more confidence in using them now thanks to this mat. I think I'll purchase another one because it is inevitable this mat will not last forever, but for now it gets the maximum 5-star rating from me. ## Frequently Bought Together - CHAMPKEY Heavy-Duty Golf Hitting Mat - Swing Path Feedback Golf Practice Mat - Ideal for Indoor and Outdoor Training - GoSports Foam Golf Practice Balls Realistic Feel and Limited Flight Use Indoors or Outdoors - GoSports Golf Pure Strike Golf Training Discs 24 Pack - Eliminate Thin Shots! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.it/products/222335341-impact-mat-1-0](https://www.desertcart.it/products/222335341-impact-mat-1-0) --- *Product available on Desertcart Italy* *Store origin: IT* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
