The Going to Bed Book (Boynton on Board)

One of our fav book purchased, love the twist in the story, fun to read, rich content, cute drawings that makes u laugh, also the whole story is with lovely rhym too! Little one enjoys it before her bed time.

My 2 year old daughter absolutely loves this book and so do I. It's a little bit silly but not enough to create hilarity when it's bedtime, it's short, well illustrated and a lovely ending. My daughter can be heard over the monitor saying "they rock and rock and rock to sleep" even though the book is no longer there. She has memorised it already and it is favourite bedtime book, who am I to argue!

I love Sandra Boyntons books... mostly because my kids love them, but also because they've got such a great rhythm that they're so easy to read. The kids pick up on the words quickly and could quickly guess the ends to the sentences. I think it's because of the rhythm that my 10 month old even listens intrigued. My 3 year old has chosen this book to read before bed for the last month & my 6 year old doesn't complain at all... which is otherwise a frequent occurrence!

An adorable book.I have read it to my baby now toddler when i was trying to establish bed time routine. In the end it says and somebody switched of the light. I would turn out the light and she would burry her head under the blanket .It worked as a magic. I have also downloaded an app version of this book.She still loves going through the digital pages.I would say it is a must book to have

Really surprised by this book. I have the hardback version and although it's just a few pages it has become a favorite to read just before bedtime. The illustrations are big and capturing and the rhyme to the text makes it easy for children to remember. A small book with a big likability to it.

Lovely rhyming book for little ones- a shame that it is slightly damaged so doesn’t look new

The book is brilliant as part of a night time routine and parents don't get tired of reading it - I know it so well I've 'read' it over the phone from all over the world to my child. My 9 month old loves it and it's still a favourite of my 5 year old even though they've long been on more advanced books.

Our kids (3 and 5) love this book! We know the story by heart, having included it in our bedtime ritual since they both were babies. I also use it in my English Classes for children (from ages 4-10), and even children new to the english language have no problem understanding the message of the story. Boynton's pictures and rhymes are brilliant!

Excellent book. Fun and perfect for their night routine. I recommend all of Sandra Boyton's books.

This has quickly become one of our baby’s favourite books. The story is simple, engaging and perfect as part of a bedtime routine. The illustrations are great and it’s a nice length — enough to keep attention without dragging on. It has become a regular part of our nightly routine. Highly recommend for parents looking for a good bedtime book.

This has quickly become one of our favorite bedtime books. The story is simple, fun, and has a nice rhythm that makes it enjoyable to read aloud. My toddler stays engaged from beginning to end and even tries to "read" along with some of the repeated phrases. The illustrations are bright, colorful, and full of funny little details that keep kids interested. The sturdy board book pages are perfect for little hands and have held up well to being read over and over. It's just the right length for winding down before bed without feeling too long. I also love that it helps establish a bedtime routine in a fun and playful way. It's one of those books that both kids and parents enjoy reading together. Overall, this is a sweet classic that has earned a permanent spot in our bedtime rotation, and I would definitely recommend it.
