Appear identical to Walmart's fly ribbons.
I just opened and hung one in my basement where a mouse must have died because I am loaded with flies. These Amazon ones appear to be identical to Walmart's 'Eliminator' fly ribbons, which I was using and worked vey well. I strongly suspect ALL of these are made in the same factory, then sold with various labels. This offering resulted in the price being about .25 per ribbon. That is the same as Walmart. Other than these, you save money buying Walmart's. Hint: place near a window, or a lone light bulb. I left a single light on all night long, and my ribbons hung right next to it were LOAD with flies the next day.

Works well and catches the flys
Work as advertised and trap the bugs. They have a tendency to pull out of the container or the ends get stuck to themselves and dont open all the way. Also the top cap has a small nail to use instead of your own thumbtack.

They do what they were made to do
They catch flies, mosquitoes, moths and anything else that flies into them. You just stick them up, drop it down, call it a day. They don't work with just fruit flies. They work with literally anything else that lands on them.Including bees. They come down pretty easily. They don't have a smell and overall are exactly what you would expect. You get a whole bunch for real little. And I think that's worth it

These are odorless, quick and easy and a CHEAP way to get rid of flying insects.
We bought some pears and have been battling gnats ever since. The pears are gone but the gnats seem to be multiplying. We used apple cider vinegar with a drop of dish soap and it definitely helped but we still have some persistent buggers flying around. So, I purchased a box of these fly traps. I have used them many times in the greenhouse to help catch flying buggers so I thought I would try it in the house. They have not disappointed. I hung one from a hanger by a light. Sure enough, the gnats were attracted to it and are stuck on it. Just be careful, it is very sticky and can make a mess FAST, if it touches anything. It is chemical free, odorless and cheap and easy. I highly recommend these.

Awful, low quality product.
They aren't sticky, the flies can just fly away after landing on them. I tried about 5 or 6 of them now out of the box and they are all like this. The flies largely just ignore the strips completely and seem entirely uninterested. I had about 20 of them in my kitchen and put up 2 strips. One strip caught 2 the other caught 0. After several days the flies died out. Never buying this product again.

Does the job well
I used these indoors as our new house had a gap in a windscreen and under a door we didn't know about. They worked well, catching dozens of flies that had gotten in on one hot day and though it took a few days to catch them all it significantly reduced the population as it caught more each day.

Back to the future fly catcher
Caught lots of flies without toxic sprays

Messy but effective
Very messy to handle - I use disposable gloves - but very effective in catching bugs. I hang them in my workshop where the sights of a strip of fly carcasses doesn't really matter. The adhesive is very strong (too strong for the cartridge structure sometimes: if you're not careful it will rip out of the housing).

Tried everything barr burning my house down!
Everything old is new again. Have been pestered by minute pesky flies for the last few years. I tried this as a last resort because I had tried all the mod cons. If it works, it works......and boy......has it worked! Very happy my place is now pesky pest flying annoying gnat free!
