Led Lighting Kit for Architecture The White House - Compatible with Lego 21054 Building Blocks Model- Not Include The Lego Set

I purchased this light kit for my daughter for Christmas. When she went to add the light kit, there was one piece that was too long, the piece itself fit until you connected the wire to it, then it would not snap back into place. I contacted Briksmax and they sent a smaller piece. It fit perfectly and it looks great. I highly recommend it. Customer service was fantastic and responded very quickly.

The instructions are step-by-step, which is good if you really need details on how to route each and every wire. However, I have found that flipping through the instructions to the part where lights get installed and working back from there has worked best for me. Sometimes it was confusing to determine exactly what was being pointed out in each picture of the instructions when it shows how to route the wires, but it's not strictly necessary to put things at the exact brick location in the manual - just make sure you create a circuit of lights in each of the 3 sections, and that the contacts between the 3 sections line up so the entire tower is powered. Then you can go back and start hiding the wires any way you see fit. Overall, the entire tower is lit up and looks great. It was a good value for the amount of lighting this provides.

Perfect touch to enhance this Lego set. Turned out exactly as I hoped it would. Pretty cut and dry on the instructions. I just went by what the book said because the instructional video had different parts than what came in the set. Had a little anxiety because you have to tear down a good portion of it to get all the lights on, but it is well worth it. One piece of advice, check that all lights work at every installation of a set of lights. We missed getting one completely in and didn’t realize it until it was all back together. Tore it apart again and found the problem. In the pictures you’ll see where one of the Lego people doesn’t have a light over their head, tore it apart again and fixed it. Other picture of it completed shows it done right!

This is one of the more difficult light kits, in my opinion, as it does require a fair amount of deconstruction/reconstruction. Pay very close attention to where every piece came from, or you'll be digging out the Lego instruction booklet for the build, as I had to do. Once it's done, it's truly spectacular and worth the work, but go slowly and carefully, and make sure you know where each disassembled piece goes. I had never done a light kit with separate components before (I'd always done the ones already hardwired to the power connector), so this was a learning experience, but that part isn't difficult. A magnifier is helpful to make certain you're orienting your wires correctly when you plug them into the expansion blocks.

I bought this lighting kit to go along with the assembly of the Lego Statute of Liberty. As you can imagine, the materials are tiny. It was hard to manage for me, and I'm a tiny person with small hands. The directions aren't always easy to understand. I tested every single light with the power pack provided. All worked before I assembled. I kept re-checking. Then, in the final step of connecting all the lights on the main board and expansion board, the power pack overheated, ooozed goo, made the wires hot, and fried the expansion boards. Burnt my hand on the wires and power pack. As of today (8/24), I'm reaching out to Briksmax to let them know the situation... and hopefully they will make good on these issues. But, right now, I'm not an advocate for this lighting kit. I'm getting ready to take my Legos apart and send the light kit materials back, as I'm not impressed with the product and all of the time I wasted to make sure things were working every step of the way.

This is my first light kit and as a 23 year old male, who has lots of experience with building LEGO but absolutely zero experience with kits like this, it’s incredible! As seen in the first picture the wires definitely can be seen up close but cannot from a distance, the second picture shows the bottom wires of it and its all, kind of, neatly hidden away. The instructions for it are so good and mostly easy to read. And the last picture is of the inside of the back of it, this set really is perfectly made for a light kit. It definitely is good value for what you pay! Awesome first kit, definitely recommend!

I purchased the Las Vegas set and was very impressed so went forward with the Briksmax set for NYC. Vegas went together pretty smoothly, but I found adding the lights to the Empire State Building for NYC was challenging. With a bit of effort and patience I was able to figure it out and the result looks great. The lights are quite bright and the light kit does what you're looking for - lights up NYC! What a fun way to bring these cool Lego architecture sets to life. Final point: I wasn't really concerned with pushing the pieces down so far that the wires get cut. They're actually very sturdy. Just know that the bricks won't go completely flat but should hold together.

Haven’t done the torch and head yet but it looks amazing and the instructions were fairly clear! Great product and will be buying from them again. Definitley worth it and adds such a cool effect.
