Pioneer DDJ-400 2-Channel DJ Controller (Gold)

No real complaints after about 2 months of use. The unit is very light but feels well made, as it should coming from Pioneer. Got to know the basics after a few hours of poking around. It's quite compact which makes it nice for bedroom DJing (pack of gum and my hand for scale in the picture). Jog wheels feel good, albeit not ideal for scratching, but again not bad for something at this price point. Only nuisance I've run into is selecting and changing effects for the filter knobs and the FX button - it's a bit of a process since there's no dedicated FX control knob on the controller itself, which means changing FX is done through the Rekordbox software. All in all, it's a good purchase if you want to decide whether or not you want to stick with DJing or if it'll become a lost hobby. Would recommend!

This is the best kit for a beginner or a seasoned dj who wants to shake the dust off.

Great for beginners who want to get started with djing. Works amazing with a laptop and rekordbox. I purchased this controller after seeing it supported IOS dj apps so I assumed it would support the pioneer dj app. I was wrong it only supports the djay app and the edjing mix app. I lose all of my cue points half of the controller functionality and it’s very clunky with other apps. I would rather use WEDJ without a controller than this controller with any of the supported apps.
