Dont be deceived by first impressions!
Ok, when you open the bottle, it smells...alcoholic and not really like maple. BUT! Once added to recipes and cooked while, that smell completely disappears and leaves behind a light and delicious maple flavor. I have used it in many recipes including low-carb maple syrup with great results!
