I tried the Lorann emulsions and to me they all taste like toxic chemicals once the cookie cools. I noticed that the next day the cookies would have a weird smell almost like molasses. I was using it to enhance the flavor of my butter cookies and read that emulsions give a better taste. To me a molasses butter cookies is not good, topped with a hint of toxic chemical smell. So I ended buying this organic one and there is no artificial flavor coming through. Days later the cookies still have the same flavor as they did once they cooled down. I purchased another one, I will be using the one until my homemade extract is ready.

Fun Fact! Some synthetic vanilla extracts are made from a substance found in the glands of beavers. Others are made of petroleum. Another Fun Fact! This vanilla isn't made from either of them! It is completely vegan. It can be added to just about anything-muffins, cake, pudding, or drinks!

SMELLS GREAT
I have not used it yet, but I did open the bottle and the vanilla has a wonderful strong smell. To me, that is an excellent sign.
