It is orange in color and smells fishy. It arrived in a dark amber glass jar with a dropper. The dark glass will help protect the V-E oil so it doesn't degrade. It needs to be kept in a cool cupboard so heat doesn't make the oil go rancid faster. This is a medium consistency thickness and it does absorb into the skin after a few minutes. Works good on scars and chapped skin. Product seems of decent quality and packaging is great. Worked well for my chapped lips and hands.
