I'm sure many cyclists have experienced this, it happens to me with the hard plastic valves.Also the size is pretty good for those pesky saddle cages (i'm thinking mostly used in triathlon) from which all the bottles seem to pop out of!I really like them. Have had 3 in total. Still winter here in NY, so I can't test it on the road yet.One of my bottles was received cracked on the outer shell, so that may be a problem if the bottle is dropped while on a ride.
