works great. I use it picking up metal from my shop table and where I drop metal on the floor. strong enough for not embedded metal. beats bending over.

Fair product overall
This is a fair product in that it works as it is supposed to, but it is very cheaply made. The construction is of the most inexpensive materials and the finish is the same. It does the job and is a fair price point for what you get.

It is absolutely worthless with small fine material such as steel pins
It is absolutely worthless with small fine material such as steel pins. It only picked up 1.2 ounces .040"x.250" of steel pins at a time. There are 4 small magnets inside this transfer magnet. The two rivets holding the bottom tin metal base on failed and fell out of the composite after one day's use. This may work on sheet materials, but on small hardware, it is a bust.

It will not pick up 16-lbs.
It is ok, will not pick up 16-lb of metal filings as stated, need more powerful magnets but price is ok, will buy from again.

Eh, not quite as heavy as I thought it ...
Eh, not quite as heavy as I thought it would be, I am using it to sort screws, and it works OK on small screws but only picks up about a dozen 3" screws at a time. the magnet isn't as strong as I expected.

Picked up good quality tool from a good seller!
The magnet was delivered on time and in good condition. I received what I ordered at a fair price. The magnet I received is sturdy enough that I won't be wearing it out any time soon. I hope to get my wife and children interested in prospecting. That would be a good reason to buy more equipment from this seller. I feel very confident with the seller and when I order more equipment it will be from this seller.
