Excellent charger well made very durable and easy to use

Perfect mounted next to the battery in my van, just the job

I had to leave my car for 6 months while I was abroad. I decided to connect this to the battery and plug it in and trust that it worked and didn't cook the battery. I was apprehensive and figured that if I let the battery to run down, it would need replacing and if the charger cooked the battery I'd need a new battery anyway. I was able to monitor the voltage via an app on my car and saw it vary between 14.5v and 12.0v It looked okay and it was with some trepidation that I returned and went to the car. I disconnected the charger and the car started first time and the battery was fully charged! Perfect. Since then, the car has run perfectly, no damage to the battery and all is well. I'm so grateful for this little intelligent charger! Wow! Love it.

This unit is designed to be permanently connected to the battery. It does come with 10mm eyelets which I found to be on the large side. NoCo connection accessories seem to be either 6mm or 10mm. I think an 8mm option would be good. This unit has a low 2 amp charge rate with makes it suitable to left connected to trickle charge of condition the battery. If you want to charge a low battery faster, NoCo have higher amperage products more suitable for this. I am happy with this product and would happily buy it again.

Had the battery on my bmw for about 4 years and been doing a ton of short runs 5,10 mins and it’s brutal on a battery. My app on my phone was indicating my battery was In a very poor state. I bought this charge more for its repair function and it has done exactly that. The battery is now back to been strong and in ok condition. And the fact you can just leave it in the car and Just connect an extension to it and leave it on charge for a couple of days is easy as well. So highly recommend.

First of all didn't arrive brand new, box was opened and clearly been used at some point by someone who returned it. Works fine so only deducting 1 star on that. Cable is super short so minus 1 more. I will be using this utilising a old camping outdoor lead and waterproof plug under the bonnet. Will be fine but something to bare in mind when you want to use this on a vehicle that's parked outside and not in a garage

Never used trickle chargers. But keeps my battery on my landrover in tip top condition
