We use All Clad pots and pans on our glass cooktop with no evidence of any scratching. **Q: do these protectors haave teflon in the fabric?** A: No. They are 100% polyester. **Q: Where are these made?** A: I don't know what the exact fabric is called but they are a very thick, stiff type of a felt feeling fabric. They are very durable and the fabric is much thicker than a simple piece of felt.
