Can you use this for roasting coffee?

No. I was disappointed when I put some green coffee beans inside my Napoleon basket and they slipped through the mesh. The beans are a bit smaller prior to roasting.

I have a large green egg with the jotisserie. Will this fit?

Yes this is what I bought for my large BGE. Be sure to spray with Pam or similar product to make cleaning easier.
