I use it to degass casting epoxy, does a great job on small batches it looks and sounds bigger than it is , in the pictures. Make sure you buy vacuum pump oil, mine came empty, and it won’t work with out it.

After reading reviews, I was a little concerned about this product, however, I had no problem putting together, the poly lid didn't brake, gauge works, compresser not noisy, worked as expected. Packaging of motor oil could be better, it leaked during shipping . I would recommend.

Worked for a day with no issues. After being used the next day the pump lost more than half of the oil from a leak in the bottom of the unit. Not a visible leak, probably a small leak from a seal. The chamber works fine, the pump is not good at all. Even the oil cap on the pump is not very sturdy

So excited to get this vacuum pump and use it only to open it up and find that theres no connecting hose to attach vacuum to the chamber now what?? Missing conection hose so up until now from when i recieved it cant use it

This works wonders for resin! It works out perfectly for helping with timing when you really need to get it done and not stressed over dealing with bubbles.

After a few uses because the lid with seal allow for no over lap the lid popped in and tore the rubber seal. It looks like the seal can be flipped for a nother use but this will probably happen again. If the lid was even slightly larger then the pot it sits on it would avoid this situation.

This thing is the biggest piece of junk! Don't buy it. I purchase this for a future project I was going to be doing for both wood stabilization and resin pours. First time use and the glass is shattered although I followed the installation manual to the letter. unfortunately I was not able to get to the project in time before the return policy from Amazon had run out and you cannot contact the manufacturer directly via email or any other means ( based out of China) the "contact seller" link does not work and if you try to go into chat it directs you to Alibaba.com which ( when and if you can contact someone) they say you have to contact the manufacture via their website and Alibaba refuses to give you the contact information of the company. looks like i am going to have to find a local plexiglass company to see if I can get a piece cut to spec for this thing.

I received my vacuum chamber in good time and in good condition, I've not been able to test its as the sealing nut was missing from the assembly package, fortunately I was able to find a suitable replacement at the local hardware. More importantly I've had to purchase a separate 110V-220V convertor as the pump is 110V. This really should be stated in the listing. Also I see from the documentation that the pump manufacturers do make a 220V version - why not offer this as an alternate? Despite the hiccups, I'm looking forward to using this.
