Does it help stop dogs from marking on the same spot? How does it smell?

Well, my dog doesn't have a marking problem, but my cat had a habit of peeing in the same place if for some reason she didn't want to use the litter box or access to the litter box was blocked, and I feel pretty confident that this removes all trace because after I started using this she stopped going back to the same spot and started using her box again. Before I was cleaning the floor up with just about every cleaning solution you can imagine and it didn't seem to help, she'd just keep returning to the scene of the crime. As for the smell, it smells like a mild cleaning solution. It definitely isn't terrible, I've never been bothered by it.

What is the difference between this product and 'Simple Solution Stain & Odor Remover Gallon w/ LED Urine Finder Light'? gadget or formula diff.?

I initially purchased Simple Solution's regular   "Stain & Odor Remover" and then the 2nd time I purchased the "EXTREME Stain & Odor Remover" . Both are specific for pet messes such as urine, feces and vomit and include Pro-Bacteria and enzymes that  break down the organic proteins to neutralize odors, however, Extreme is 3X concentrated.  You don't mix either with water, both are safe around pets and children and can be used on any water safe surface.  DIFFERENCES: The less concentrated one you have to let it sit for 10 minutes or more and the Extreme only 5 minutes or more. I also noticed that the regular "Stain & Odor Remover" smells good since it's  less concentrated.As far as the light, it's suppose to locate areas on walls, etc, where urine is that you  can't  see. I havent found them useful at all since it lights up other things such as lent and other particles.  You can buy them at  most stores for around $5.00.

does it work under a uv light

I used this for the first time tonight- the extreme version. I turned off all the lights in the room and used my UV light to identify urine areas on the carpet. I was VERY impressed to see the glowing urine areas disappear before my eyes immediately when the spray came in contact with the areas. Very very good stuff in my first experience anyway.

Can i add hot water, cap full of solution, bucket and use on concrete?

No! I would use the hot water first on the area, and then apply liberally Simple Solution for stain and odor control.
