My wife and I hang most of our things to dry saving $$$ on gas and electric to dry our clothes. The old drying rack was not cutting it any more. So she found this one and it is working wonderfully. It is not as strong as I would like. I would love to hang more shirts on hangers. However, that is what the shower curtin rod and the second rod installed in the bathroom are for. This works great for socks, under-things, tights and compression wear, hats and gloves. The easy movement of the "shelf" racks makes it nice to expand as needed and keeping compact enough to stay out of the way. Lots of room for lots more stuff. Open enough to dry easy and can use a fan to aid in drying if desired. The swing arms are plastic but are strong for bras, slips and light shorts.

I purchased this clothes rack because the other night I was trying to hang some clothing on the typical wooden, folding, cheap old drying rack you find in every household across America and lo-and-behold once again it ended up falling apart with all my clothes on the floor. I became enraged because this was probably the 1000th time it has happened( I know, I know...the definition of insanity). So, I threw it out the front door. Now what?! I got on my favorite website....Amazon of course. I could not believe the different drying racks that are out there now. After looking around for awhile I decided on this model. It only took a few days to get it and I had my husband put it together for me (when we got married 31yrs ago that was his agreed upon job). It only took about 15 minutes to assemble, if that. It is light...I didn't need the wheels, it's light enough to pick up...I'm definitely keeping them though in case I change my mind. It is very, very sturdy. The 2and picture shows a sweater laid flat on an upper shelf, that sweater is super heavy, when I laid it on there there was not even a hint of leaning or tipping over. The items on the other side weigh absolutely nothing. I love the thought that was put into the shape and space use of this rack. When you don't need both sides you put all the shelves down on one side and push it up against the wall, space saver! Also, I love the arms you can turn out on each side that you can put hangers through to hang even MORE pieces. The absolute only thing that does not make sense about this rack is the few hangers they throw in as a little "gift". The hangers are covered with a black, velvet feeling coverage stuff. Personally I wouldn't put damp/wet clothing on them.....not sure if there would be an issue with color transfer. They should have just sent a thick, sturdy plastic hanger. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CLOTHING DRYING RACK!

ASSEMBLY: I read a few reviews of people saying that they did not receive any instructions with their rack, so I have attached pictures of the instructions that I received with mine. When you look at all of those pipes,screws, and other pieces after you've taken them out of the packages, it looks like it'll be confusing to put together --but once you get the base and bottom first tier assembled you'll realize it's easy and that everything else just quickly snaps and screws into place because you're basically just repeating Step 2 two more times until you get to the top where you attach the wings then you're done. USING THE RACK: It does what I need it to do as far as drying clothes. The holes in the wings should be spaced further apart, though. I end up having to skip holes because the clothes will be touching each other if I don't, and if you hang wet clothes with no space and airflow between them they will smell like mildew after they're dry. The rack is very light and easy to just pick up and move or roll wherever you want it to go. OVERALL CONSTRUCTION: It DEFINITELY SHOULD NOT cost the $50 that Amazon is charging for it because you can tell just by handling the pieces that the pipes and plastic pieces aren't exactly the sturdiest and aren't of the best quality. The pipes will pop out of the sockets and the clothes you have hanging will slide off if you use hangers to hang more than 2 or 3 wet items of clothing on the racks. The pipes also like to pop out of the sockets if you handle the drying rack too swiftly or don't handle it carefully.

This rack can hold a lot of laundry, you’d be surprised. The tiers collapse down and it’s super light weight for when I bring it inside. The locking casters are good too to keep it still on a windy afternoon. The articulated arms for hangers are great for when I dry large bed sheets as it gives me the needed extra few feet. Every time I collect my outside dried laundry, I’m so content knowing that my laundry is sanitary and that gives me peace of mind, big time! I bought a little apartment washer (different review) and this rack because I was disgusted with our apartment building’s FILTHY laundry room. I had to completely sanitize the entire room and machines before I’d even bring down my dirty laundry. I even used to stick my head into the dryer drums to wipe them out before drying my own clothes. Sometimes the wipes would come out black, not too mention gum, bandaids, other unknown icky debris, hair pins and worst of all…hair! 🤢 🤮 I had it one particular filthy day and decided to just change how I do laundry. I knew it would be time consuming, but with a little planning, we’d be fine. Not only have I saved a TON of money but not having to pump $30-$50 in quarters to double wash and dry my weekly laundry (more expensive on days that I launder bedding), but my clothes turn out super fresh and I swear cleaner! There’s a fresh smell to them that brings joy in smelling them, just like a TV commercial, I swear! ☺️ And the feeling of knowing other peoples hair and whatever else was suck in the inner working of the dryer makes me feel less freaked out. There were times that even though I cleaned out the dryers and ran them for 10 minutes before using them, my clothes still came out smelling funky or like my neighbors dog. But now that I use the fresh air and California sun to dry my laundry, I’m super happy and feel less anxious over what’s on my clothes from the previous user. No more wasting money on expensive sanitizing wipes plus it’s a bonus not having to run up and down stairs 20 times a day while using the buildings laundry room. The picture I took shows a couple rugs drying as I find this to be the best surprise. Putting rugs with rubber backing in dryers usually start to deteriorate the rubber, even on a low setting. You either take them out early and the rug is still damp, or fully dry and the rubber backing is flaking off. Now I dry them on the rack, rubber side down, and they dry perfectly and smell like fresh air. The only thing I miss from a regular dryer is how they remove lint and pet fur stuck in the clothes. Be ready for all that lint stuck to your clothes, but it will shake off once dry and a simple swipe with a lint roller will remove the rest. I also have to sweep off the porch after I do towels or a really linty load but the trade off it totally worth it! Some things from the past prove to be best. Not only am I saving a TON of money, but this is a natural and sustainable way to dry your clothes. I highly recommend it and this product which we will use inside during the winter rainy days ahead of us.

I hooked this up myself, It took some hours before I got it all together, but I did. My only issue with it is that I wished it wasn't so tall for my small apartment, I'll have to move it to my patio which is an issue during winter. That said, it is very functional, lots of hanging space, plus the bars can be turned down like a table to spread large or bulky items, there are also extra arms with swinging arms to hang shirts and blouses. The great thing about this is it's portability, the wheels are large enough and runs smoothly, and the rack itself is very sturdy and lightweight.

This was easy to assemble except for when I was installing one of the casters I pushed slightly too hard and cracked the plastic housing for it. But I was able to put it back together using some putty epoxy. The racks are sturdy enough for a light amount of clothing- don't pile too much on the areas that fold out because they will strain under the weight. But they're perfect for what they are meant for, which is air drying clothing. This rack has been a lifesaver since I moved into a small apartment the rack takes up very little space but is tall and can dry a great many articles of clothes at a time.

As for Prime member I got this right away. I was excited because I also got Amazon's best-selling mini washer as well and thought that you would go together. This clothes rack is very sturdy for the price you pay really works well I liked it it moves freely the casters are very heavy duty. I recommend to anyone. The only thing I can see is that you probably don't want to over weight The Swinging arms up top with too much clothes for that mechanism can be maxed out with shirts but I don't recommend hanging three large hooded sweatshirts on one swing arm my opinion is it tends to flex and plastic wears is overtime so having good preservation will keep something I all will enjoy for a long time. I hope this helps. Oh and FYI my oil heater fits right underneath the bottom racks so when I wash sheets and hang them over the top my oil heater that I use anyways for winter Heating space for my small dogs also helps aiding in Air Dryer as well. My oil heater is two feet without the feet underneath so it fits snugly into the rack but works great.

The base broke during assembly. It seems to be brittle plastic that broke apart when I attached one of the rolling casters. I spent over an hour with Amazon support and was never able to contact the seller to get a replacement piece. After spending an hour assembling the unit I'm not about to tear it down, find a box to return it, just to get another unit that I'll have to spend another hour assembling. Why can't Amazon help me contact the seller? Why isn't the seller available for customer service? I'm happy with the unit, it's sturdy enough, lightweight, and works well. However, I'm now using a broken product because Amazon contracts with companies who don't respond, and the seller is ghosting me. Too bad.
