These are excellent. I’ve had cooling mats in past but these are far more comfortable. Feel a bit more “cushioned” & nicer to sleep on than previous very flat mats. Yes they’re cool. Absolutely heavenly to lay on in hot weather. Yes, they will heat up under body but if you wake up, just turn them around. I found a nice trick was to direct fans at mat whilst having a shower before bed so super cool at start. The photo colour is deceptive, they’re not bright blue but a very light blue - fine by me. They work really well, easy to wipe over if necessary. They are quite heavy, but easy to pack away in the bags they’re delivered in. I wish they came in a double because after years of buying my 2 cats different cool mats - which they totally ignored - they also love these. I refuse to buy another mat for cats!! My son & DIL also love these, but obviously had to buy 2 singles - which actually, may be better thinking about it for diff body temps 🤣. Can also use if sitting on chair or sofa etc in hot weather. I would definitely recommend these & would have ordered another one for a friend if they didn’t appear to be out of stock.

Very disappointed. For me this was a bad buy. It creases and moves every time you move and is not cold to touch. Very heavy, for me totally useless.

I’ve had a smaller version of this before so I knew in advance the coolness does not last very long whilst you are on it. This particular one I chose because of its length, it fits a king size bed no problem, from pillow to end of bed and about half way across. When you first lay on it it is cold, but that’s what you want! The longer you stay on it the more it absorbs your body heat. If you have the bed to your self this isn’t a problem. I can simply roll to the other side of my bed which is cool and in the meantime the cool pad sort of recharges itself, it will go cool again. It won’t last for ever, y last one a couple of years or so then needed replacing but I do t know yet how long this will last but right now it is value for money and doing what I bought it for.

It dosent stay cool, body heat warms it up. That being said, I havent woke up sweaty since using it. I went one night without it and straight away I was sweaty again so I'm sure it does work. Worth a try if you get super hot in bed like me.

For the first 10 minutes this topper felt like a miracle during the heatwave, but in hardly any time it heated up to my own body temperature and actually felt warmer, like an electric blanket. This is hugely disappointing and a waste of money as it wasn't cheap at £35. The only good thing about it is the gel filling creates alleviation from my over hard mattress. A bit like a poor person's waterbed.
