**Q: Immediately upon taking it out of the tube, my seven-year-old separated the pieces. We’ve never seen it “work.” Is it fixable?**
A: Likely not if the looped ends that attach it to each spiral wire are detached. It is probably bent but it can probably still work if you can put it back together and it isnt really bent up.  Give it a shot or exchange it.  Its a cool toy for kids
