I know it doesn't make sense to put 0.5 in 0.3 pen... but if I have a 0.7 pen can I put 0.5 refills in it?

One would think it they wouldn't be interchangeable but I haven't had a problem switching between the size of the barrelsand the refills. I use to buy new pens before I got smart and started buying the refills.

Will the .05 refill work on what was originally a 0.7 pen?

Hi there, they have fit the pens I've put them in. I have a mix of pens with .05 and .07 but all the pens were originally bought with a .07 ink refill.

Do the refills dry out since there are a dozen of them?

There is a tiny plastic cap on the tip of each refill. I have never had one dry out. These seem to be very high quality.
