I bought a Howard Miller travel alarm clock 21 years ago, and it lasted me about 19 years. I replaced it with the exact same model, but within about a year the new one started being unreliable. I considered replacing it again with the same model, but then saw this one for less money and fewer perks to go wrong, so decided to "downgrade." Really glad I did--so much easier to use than my old one.
