This is a great grow tent starter set. It is complete in all but two things. It does not have a power strip. I hooked up the lights and fan to the power strip, and that to the timer included in the kit. The only optional thing is the controller kit to control the fan and monitor everything using your phone. At the time of this review the price of the controller kit is $69 U.S. that would be nice but not 100% nessary. Light blocking is phenomenal. Clip on fan is nice, quiet as well. Light is good but should have spent $80 more on the Samsung light. Growing cooking herbs right now but overall very happy with this. This is for the kit with the ts1000 light. Thank you Mars hydro for a good kit that is easy to get started with. This has enough room for a second grow light of the same dimensions if hung correctly. I have the ts 500 and it works well also. This is a solid thick tent. Love the amount of ports with double layers to keep light in. This makes a fairly fully sealed space. I wish most car camping tents were made this sturdy.

I purchased this tent a year ago because after much research of many products, this product did not leave anything for me to buy except my plant(s). It has everything I need for successful growing. I like the fact that it has a double zipper front door that is solid, and not "see through". I prefer to just give my plant(s) the protected environment from controlling the light, humidity and air that they need during the times they need it. If I wish to "peep", there is a mesh "window" at the top of the door. But I don't use it. I must water proficiently for a quality plant(s), plus putting my eyes close to observe any signs of undernourishment, etc. Need to touch, breathe on (for their CO2 requirements), and talk to them. All this matters to a well rounded plant(s). It did take me quite some time to put everything all together, but once it was done, It stands in the spare room corner and is being used now and my plants have never ever been so big and healthy. The grow light can be easily raised or lowered, brightened or dimmed as required by the plant(s). Excess heat is not a problem. Plugging the light into a timer assures the correct daylight/darkness is always available to the plant(s), easy access to watering/fertilizing feeds as their needs require. The air flow can be adjust between very strong to very weak force air, which healthy plants need the circulation of indirect air flow to be healthy. I highly recommend this product and my plant(s) are growing taller, bushier and more healthy than they ever had outside. My only regret is that I didn't buy a slightly larger tent. But, perhaps I'll just buy another one. Side by side is good. Highly recommend this quality product, with heavy duty written all over it (figuratively speaking, of course).

Easy set up, easy maintenance! Wish I had more room, I'd get another! Plants grew surplus fruits, and all were healthy! Excellent material, no light leaks! No issues with shipping, and would highly recommend!

The Mars Hydro 2.3x2.3 grow tent is great for typical applications where outdoor growing just won't go. It can also be used well for preseason clone training. The package ships with the tent, metal poles and connectors, a duct fan with about 30 feet of ducting and the Mars Hydro TS1000 light. OVERALL - Due to missing some window covers, low quality duct fan and poor instructions I would say this product is a 4/5 with a can improve rating. I am sure users would rather pay $50 more to get a better fan and instructions than to worry about the cheap one that comes in the box. However, the quality is great, yield is great and overall it is highly worth the money as I have already doubled my overall investment with my first grow. PROS: POTENTIAL YIELD - I was able to yield about 9 ounces of high grade cannabis from 2 plants that I intentionally kept small for monster cropping. I could have easily doubled my yield if the plants were allowed to grow differently. TENT REFLECTIVENESS - The material of the tent is highly reflective and adds about 20% more light from the walls than if it is not in a tent. I used a light meter to test these numbers. ZIPPER QUALITY - This tent has a high quality zipper unlike its competitors, this zipper should last several seasons and if properly cared for several years. LIGHT CONTROL - The TS1000 is a great light for this size tent and features dimmable switches, daisy chaining and night metal hangers. I would recommend upgrading to a TS2000 if you want insane yields. PRE SEASON GROW TENT - This tent is great for indoor grows but I also employ a second tent (4x4) for my preseason training. I take my clones around April and grow them controlled in the tent where I can properly train them and prep them for wind, HEAT, etc then come June 1st I place them outside to finish off. I estimate about 1.5 lbs per plant outdoor by end of harvest thanks to my pre season growing and prep. CONS: FAN - I found the fan was not to my standards and replaced it with a upgraded low sound digital ducting fan, the one that ships is low quality, loud and did not circulate enough air. INSTRUCTIONS - The in box instructions are poor and do not provide much information on setting up your tent. However I have set up tents before so I was able to set this up in about 20-30 minutes without any tools. Customer support - I reached out to customer support as the product I received was missing the bottom velcro windows, 4 months later I have not heard back.

Very nice system. Didnt realize how bright the light is.. definitely needed the glasses to see. Installation was pretty easy.. but i had watched several setup videos on youtube prior to its arrival. No complaints as long as it stays working. Nothing was damaged everything arrived packed good. I was most worried about it arriving destroyed. No light leakage no issues with any of the equipment. I ran it all on high upon arrival. If thinking of starting up I’d go for it.

Super high quality tent with thick material and good zipper design, it fits perfectly in a 3x3 space just enough room to still be out of way, I am running my first DWC grow using the same brand Mars Hydro for my whole set up, and so far nothing disappoints, everything works great as advertised and I am thinking of purchasing a second tent for a mushroom grow!!

I am a 60-year old woman, and although this is not my first indoor garden tent, I found this kit incredibly easy to set up. I had no help, and although I confess there was some salty talk and several cats got yelled at for “helping,” it took me under an hour from unboxing to indoor growing. The tent is nice and heavyweight, there are adequate ports for cords, and it tucks nicely into the corner of my guest room where it is out of sight. I use zip ties to hang the fan, not the included ropes, and honestly think zip ties are faster and easier. For me the hardest part was wiggling the ducting on to the filter and clamping it. But I got it done (no thanks to my cat). The fan is very quiet. The light spans the entire width of the tent and most of the depth. I started my plants outdoors in the blazing hot southern sun. So I went straight to 100% light and 18/6 for the timer. Get this kit if you want to grow a couple of plants—but understand this is just a tool. You need to know what your doing to achieve good results!

LONG REVIEW, but read it all: Box arrived damaged; Amazon tried covering it with their boxing tape. Conveniently I didn’t get an email with a photo of delivery asking how the delivery was this time. Hmmm… Onto the grow tent: Not easy to set up with one person. Grow light came without one of the black screw-tops and the other one loose, so the output/input case wasn’t attached to the body of the light. Emailed MarsHydro and they’re sending me the missing screw, but it’s disappointing you spend $400+ and it arrives like that. When I told them, their first response was “but is the light working…” Uhm, regardless, a piece isn’t attached and it’s missing parts. No black bungee netting as shown in photo. They refunded me $10 so I could buy one. So that’s on me to do instead of them just sending me one. The humidity thermometer and light timer that come with it are off-brand, pretty cheap; the directions are worded in broken English and is a good indicator it’s not made in the US. When I look up videos on how to use the timer, theirs doesn’t look like mine so it was difficult for me to understand. Once the filter and fan were hooked up and put inside the tent, it didn’t leave much room for the ducting, and it’s bent at a very sharp angle. The actual tent is good; seems sturdy enough. Only had it a couple weeks so far; I’ll update as I use the zippers more. There are several “windows” held up with Velcro that are helpful when wanting to check without opening the whole tent or if you need to adjust the humidity. The 5-gal grow bags are very basic and generic. Overall I’m not super impressed with the whole experience and not sure this is worth the money I spent, given parts were missing, low-quality items, no netting and I’m expected to fix that myself. Next time I’d buy the tent (bc I do like the actual tent) and get the other things separately so I can control their quality and size, etc.

Das Growset macht auf mich einen wertigen & guten Eindruck. Was Thema Preis Leistung angeht unschlagbar. Leider fehlte jedoch im Karton jegliche Spur von der UV-Schutzbrille die auf den Fotos mit angepriesen wurden ist. Bei Amazon kann ich leider nur eine komplette neue Lieferung anfordern. Was natürlich keinen Sinn ergibt wenn nur die Brille fehlt. Pflanzen wachsen sehr gut unter dem Licht. Nachtrag: UV Brille wurde nachgeliefert alles top.
