Brilliant! Better than my gas job at home.
I bought this for camping and it’s been great so far. It heats quicker than gas and gets very hot. I’ve not had it past 7. A benefit to this particular hob is the 0.5 increments giving you 20 heat settings. That provides much more control so nothing will boil over. Some people complain they’re noisy, but you’d only notice if every where else was silent. Even trees rustling in the wind are louder. Check your pans can be used on induction. The first time I took it camping I couldn’t use it because I had a cheap frying pan that didn’t work.

Little kitchen helper
Used for over a year to write the review as I wanted to experience it fully before reviewing it. Worth the wait , it's very nice little induction hob. It takes on any job small like saute to fry on. Well impressed You need to find your right balance for which number you want to use and once you figure it out, job done. Very easy to clean. Used it even outdoor boiling cooking in order to avoid all the water vapour and keep the kitchen damp free. Heats up fast no complain

The Induction Hob that converted me.
Having tried 2 other Induction Hobs (one a chef which failed to amaz me, and another which had me going Aye Oh Bosi! in frustration) I'm happy with this one. Whereas the other 2 had a small solid circle coil, and where completely incapable of heating my 30cm De Buyer evenly, this has a coil with a larger outer circumference with a hole in the middle, and the heat is much more evenly distributed. The flour test still shows it's not perfect, but it's useable, and Sea Bream fillets came out with a nice evenly crisped skin, and a steak had a lovely seer. If you're looking to try Induction cooking, without breaking the bank, then this has a combination of even heat, plenty of power levels and the fan is less intrusive than either of the others I tried, and comes highly recommended.

Great induction single stove
I won't mention value for money as the price varies massively! I suggest you watch the product for a bit. Massive adjustability of power levels , better than a lot of home built in cookers. Fast response (almost as good as gas) Better than halogen (safer, faster, more energy efficient) Will take a very large stock pan , pasta pan, fry pan. The only down size is the size of the unit , its Big . Check the measurements and put it on a piece of paper so you fully realise the size. That brings to the box and packing it was sent it. I was surprised the unit arrived undamaged as when I opened the squashed box there was enormous room to of put almost three in the box but only one very small bit of paper to hold it in place . TERRIBLY PACKING AMAZON . especially as I've received soft items that can't get damaged with the air filed packing and paper to stop them from moving . Its now July 2024 and two plus years so I thought I'd update. The hob isn't used everyday but regularly, it's performed perfectly (via a 3000w inverter used only in a motorhome) 100% worth buying. And have also suggested others looking for this type of product in a motorhome to buy - which they have and all are very much glad they purchased.

Excellent
Absolute game changer, I love this hob, temperature control made simple, easy to use and works brilliantly, my only comment would be that the feet are a little slippy on my worktop so it can move slightly during use

Had it for a year now. Update - the good and the bad
Over a year on - this hob has lasted with quite a lot of use, and still cleans so easily, with just a wipe with a damp cloth after each use. It's light enough to pick up and put away in a cupboard between uses. It heats very quickly to a high temperature and goes low enough to just keep warm too. Now for the downside. I often use a frying/saute pan with a 22cm base. This does NOT work well. The outer ring marked on this hob might give you the impression it will heat to that size pan. It doesn't. It heats around 5 inches in the centre. The food in the outside areas of the pan will not cook like the centre, and thus you find the centre of expensive induction pans are all burning and have a dark circle in the middle where they have been damaged with a high temperature but the outside is still like factory finish because the pan simply hasn't heated outside that small ring it shows. Yes, you can put bigger pans on but nothing will cook! Looking at other makes, it seems this is common with induction hobs made for the home cook. They have a coil in that only is as big as that middle circle. They all say how a bigger pan can be used, but food won't cook unless you keep drawing it to the middle which you can with something like a stir fry, but not pancakes or something that needs leaving flat until it's cooked. Even 6 fried eggs will cook in the middle of the pan but the outside few inches won't. If you want something that is going to heat a larger base, it seems you need to go for the commercial pans. The second issue with this, and I've had two of these now and they're both the same, is that you leave something simmering at a certain level and the timer on for say 10 minutes. Half way through the level of heat changes and it goes on to full! Not good.

I have been using this hob for three months now and I’m delighted with it.
I bought this for use in our campervan and I’ve found that its versatility is excellent. The power control is good for simmering through to boiling, which is does surprisingly quickly. I would guess that this is because all of the heat is produced in the bottom of the pan unlike on a gas hob where lots of heat goes up around the sides of the pan. Another advantage of this is that you can leave your spatula in the pan without its handle getting hot. So, all the things which they say in the advert are true as far as I can see but you can also use it as a mini oven. I have cooked quiches in it by heating a dry saucepan on a temperature setting of 70ºC until I hear the power turn off which means that the temperature sensor under the glass is at that temperature. Then I turned it up to 80ºC, then 90ºC and so on until I got to 120ºC. If you don’t do this, if you just start at 120ºC, the pan will get very hot while the heat is creeping through to the sensor. Then put the quiche in the pan for 20 minutes or whatever. Similarly you can do this to warm up croissants. As I say, I bought it for the campervan but I find it so good that I use it all the time at home in the kitchen instead of the gas hob.

A superb product
For the past few years I have heavily used a table top Induction Hob made by a different manufacturer. I searched online for a Hob that had finer low temperature adjustment for better simmering. I came across the Duxtop 9600LS and decided to buy one. Firstly I would say that after using it for a few days and become familiar with it the Hob is a doddle to use. I am chiefly using the power values of 0.5 to 10 rather than the temperature settings. The leaflet that comes with the Hob gives clear instructions for the touch controls. Once you have learned that the Lock function activates and deactivates when you touch the ikon for more than a couple of seconds and that the timer setting toggles between minutes and hours you are well on the way to knowing all you need to know. The Power default setting of 5.0 seems to correspond to a Temperature setting of 160°c which is quite a high setting. I use lower settings than these to simmer curries. I have not had other reviewers experience of the heat setting jumping from a low value to Maximum. Provided that your pans are definitely suitable for Induction cooking you should not witness the E0 error when the pan is in the Hob. Other commenters have stayed that this Hob is quite noisy. It does not appear to be much different to my old Hob. They have fans and the noise is simply fan noise. I am extremely pleased with my purchase. If you haven’t tried Induction cooking I would recommend this particular item.

Piastra induzione Duxtop 9600LS-eu

Endlich vernünftig (Mod: 9600LS-EU) slow-cooking, Hot-Pot und SOUS-Vide durchaus machbar
Hallo erst mal...

Best value
This stove is capable of maintaining lower temperatures and simmering temperatures. It is something that I have not seen in almost any portable induction cooktop apart from control freak. I would not expect it to do big batches of fried food considering its size, but given the dimension and price of this unit, the value is better than most of my portable inductions in 200+ eur price range.
