We've wasted hundreds of dollars and probably tried a dozen or so different types of toilets to try to solve a variety of issues before we found this one. 1) A toilet that won't make her smell like her own poo all day 2) A toilet that won't give her a matted pee butt from sitting in her pee all day. 3) A toilet that isn't a total chore to clean. 4) a toilet that she'll actually use instead of peeing/pooping all around it. This toilet ticks all of the boxes. So much so, that we've actually bought three of them to rotate while we clean her. Cleaning is a breeze! 1) lift out the old pee pad (we use costco pee pads that cover the entire box instead of the smaller pee pads, so we can just grab and lift out everything) and throw in the trash. 2) garden hose spray down the box/tray 3) Line the box with a new pee pad when dry. It doesn't get easier than this, and unless you enjoy spending lots of time cleaning out your rabbit tray or are okay with your rabbit laying in filth, then this is an absolute must purchase for any rabbit owner. The build quality is surprisingly high and love the curved slots on the tray that are easy on her feet and also make it easier for the poo to fall into the tray below. The high edges keep her from spraying outside the box and are also perfect for clipping on a small hay box! I think the only thing they could possibly improve is maybe an even larger size for very large rabbits, but for our netherland dwarf, this is a perfect and spacious size! Review: Highly Recommend! - I should have ordered this ages ago! I won't begin to describe the litter pan set up I had before but I was tired of the matts getting stained so I resorted to shelling out more money for a product like this and I'm here to say I am so thrilled! For my one English Angora rabbit this XL litter pan is perfect! The lid secures and lifts very well. I am so happy with the corner holes though my rabbit tends to go right in the middle. I'm very grateful for the pee pads that were included with it - makes it even easier for clean up. I clean it out every other day and the tray still has room for another day if I needed to delay. I use aspen shavings on top of the pee pads which works great to absorb and collect everything. The size is remarkable and just as advertised. You can see I put the litter pan in a larger plastic tote. I put the investment into both items and I'm here to say it was all worth it. This rabbit litter pan is perfect for all rabbit feet and I think my little Hobbit is thrilled its paws aren't getting messy anymore! I highly recommend this product and I'm super grateful! 5 star item right here! ## Features - Innovative Design: Are you tired of taking the whole potty box out of the cage, dumping and cleaning every day? Or is this product not recommended for a growing miniature pig?** A: The extra LG size is perfect for a 6 lb bunny, so if a miniature pig is larger than that than I would think not **Q: Does the poo actually fall down in the holes?** A: Yes. Almost all of the poop falls down into the pan. **Q: Do you guys recommend this box ? I have two Holland lops almost full grown and I want to make sure it’s the actual size cuz it’s super pricy** A: I'm wondering the same thing but I have 3 Holland Lops and people Holland Lop rabbits are not large at all they're the only recognized Dwarf Lop Eared Rabbit breed they range from 2.0-4.5 pounds max my trio are 6 months old and currently just 2.8 pounds each so I think this size would be ok for at least 1 if not upto 3 they're super small Mini Lops are bigger then Holland Lops in the US so people keep confusing these two breeds. Think of Holland Lops as Dwarf Lops that's another common name for this breed the Large Lop Rabbit are English Lops 10-12 pounds on Average and French lops who don't have a max weight limit those are the Giant Lop breeds in the US. **Q: What is the height of the "poop" area? Is it actually 3.5"?** A: No, I just measured it: 1 1/2” only! It fills rapidly with my prolific pooper rabbit who own 2 potties in his area! It is a bit of an disappointing litter box! I like the fact that it is rectangular and fits into the hutch perfectly. If it were 3 1/2 “ it would be much better! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolute must purchase for all rabbit owners *by T***U on October 22, 2022* Yes, it's not cheap, but out of all of our spoiled rabbit's many, many, expensive things, this is by far the most useful to us. I LOVE it! My bunny loves it. The box itself is very sturdy and easy to clean. The removable grate keeps bunny off of his mess. The grate holes are large enough for solids to fall through and onto the pads. My only complaint is that the pads that come with the litter box are too small, IMO. I purchased puppy pads and I use binder clips to secure the pad to the wall of the litter box, with one side higher than the other. I also use pellets that absorb liquids (not kitty litter pellets) and it seems to help with odor. This little complaint is not enough to drop a single star on my review because I love this litter box so much. Cleaning requires a few more steps which I don’t mind. I remove the grate. Place on some paper towels in a boot tray. I had mixed up a solution of vinegar, water, and a splash of fabuloso and I use it to spray the grate. If there’s any excess mess left behind I’ll wipe it. Then I use a spray bottle with just water to “rinse” off the cleaner. I do this after I’ve put the bunny into his cage for the night so I can have his box air dry and any remaining smells from the cleaner dissipate. I replace the liner and the pellets and we are good to go for the next day. ## Frequently Bought Together - CalPalmy X-Large Rabbit Litter Box with 10PCS Bonus Pads, Drawer, Corner Toilet Box 17.3" x 13" and Bigger Pet Pan for Adult Guinea Pigs, Chinchilla, Ferret, Galesaur, Small Animals - (100 Pads) CalPalmy Ultra Absorbency Pet Toilet Training Pads 18" x 13" Moisture Locking Technology Turns Liquid into Gel - Perfect for Rabbits and Guinea Pigs - Grddaef 20 PCS Bunny Chew Toys for Teeth, Natural Rabbit Toys Apple Wood Grass Timothy Sticks Chew and Treat for Guinea Pigs Hamster Chinchillas --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.it/products/216242883-small-animal-x-large-litter-box](https://www.desertcart.it/products/216242883-small-animal-x-large-litter-box) --- *Product available on Desertcart Italy* *Store origin: IT* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
