Clarks Women's Clarkdale Dawn Ankle Boot

This is my third pair of the Clarkdale collection. I love them. They are leather so all 3 pairs fit differently and take time to break in. This pair in particular comes just above the ankle and it’s stuff and a little irritating, but I think with wear the leather will soften and won’t itch so much at the top. Also there isn’t a very large platform, but they are comfortable. I can wear them all day and they are pretty true to size and medium width. I have wide feet and they’re fine for me.

This is a beautiful boot, but a little hard to get on. I have to use a shoe horn every time I put them on. ..but with that said, every time I wear them I get compliments on the look and quality. thank you Clarks!

I love the boots. Actually they’re the best fitting boots I’ve had in a long time. The quality is exceptional and I’ve had lots of compliments how nice they look and the quality. Ive never bought Clark’s because they looked like they were for older generations but this boots look great and for all generations. I will definitely purchase Clark boots again.

Nice boots, but they do run a little small. Since they are leather, I think they will stretch.

Glad I read other reviews before purchase. I normally wear a 9 or 9.5 depending on brand and style of shoe. I ordered the 9.5, but it fits more like a 9. Snug getting them on, but fits well once on. The 9 would have been too small. Could also be the shape of the toe - I normally wear more round/boxy shoes with more room. Very comfortable sole and heel height.

I love these boots. I would have bought the black ones to if these had them. I think they are very stylish you can wear them with jeans and have even worn them to work. A little narrow at first but break in pretty quickly.

Love the style of the boots and the functionality for water resistance. The frustration with them is that the boot opening is way too small. Once I get my foot into the boot they fit snug but they aren't uncomfortable so I know I purchased the right size. Clark's is unresponsive to my email inquiries about the opening sizing, kind of a bummer because I am such a brand loyal person.

I wanted to love these boots like I do all of my other Clarks, but these just didn’t cut it. I have other boots from the Clarkdale line because they’re typically wider and fit my feet better- and these were no different. However, there is just something off with these boots. When I put them on I felt like they didn’t sit evenly on the ground, so if I shifted weight to my heel to flatten the heel to the ground, my toes were raised, and visa versa. I took the boots off and placed them on a flat table and sure enough they are visibly uneven. I don’t know why this is happening, but I unfortunately will return these.
