Yes, but choosing right or left hand for the bow has to do with which eye is dominant. If your right eye is dominant, then you need a right hand bow. To determine this, pick a small object on a far wall and, with both eyes open, frame that spot by putting your hands together and looking through the hole between them. Then close your left eye. If the object is in view, then you are right eye dominant. Close your right eye and the object should disappear.

is this a bow that can actually be used for hunting as well as for archery practice shooting targets?

The bow itself is not intended for hunting. As for whether it could be used for hunting, that will depend upon state law where you live. For example, in my state, it is illegal to use any bow under 40 pounds of draw weight for any hunting. This bow has a maximum draw weight of 20 pounds, so it is far below that limit. Your state's laws may be different, though, so there's a chance that it may be legal for some hunting purposes in your state.

Does this bow come with arrows or any other pieces? There is nothing in the description saying what it comes with.

If you want arrows with the Bow, you must buy the Kit, that comes with 6? arrows, a quiver and an arm guard.Most archery dealers stock the "Easton #1820 Aluminum arrows" or you can also order online. The 1820 is the Required arrow for NASP competition.
