Tip it over and no leaking. Takes a couple squeezes to prime the pump but then works great. Meets my needs and expectations. I will likely use hte rigid spout most of the time, but nice to have the flexible one. Review: While I did just get this, it now has bar and chain lube in it for my chain saw and works quite well. After getting it primed, I'm able to easily just squirt out the amount I need and not too little or too much. So far, there are no signs of leaks and while the pump head is plastic, the body can and pump lever are metal and all appear quite sold. The finish on the metal can is perfect and no leakage has appeared around the seam at the bottom of the can or where the plastic housing screws onto the can. I also didn't see any dripping from the end of the flexible spout I'm using after letting the pump lever back and the pump sitting untouched.
