Amazon Basics RJ45 Cat 7 High-Speed Gigabit Ethernet Cable Compatible with Router, Modem, Xbox, PC & Laptop, PS5, Switch, Printer, 15m

I first purchased this cable over a year ago as I was looking for something to run over slightly longer runs from the router to my PC. I found this cable to be of excellent quality and had absolutely zero issues with it, some Cat 7 cables can cause problems as many don't use the same industrial standard as the rest such as Cat 5, Cat 6 and Cat 8. I've just purchased a second cable due to going from Fibre to Full Fibre, for those that aren't aware with Full Fibre the Openreach box connects directly to the router via Ethernet cable and not the old 2 core copper phone cable. For Full Fibre you will also need a minimum Cat 5e cable, so this being Cat 7 is perfect. The cable itself looks nice, black and white braided so looks the part especially if any of it is visible, as mine is running between the ONT Openreach box and the router. I purchased the 7.6m lengths and run both of these with absolutely no performance drop at all, the router to the PC is only 2 metres but I got this for if I move my desk in the future so the excess is curled up under my desk. I can highly recommend this cable, although apart from the 7.6m the other versions come in white but that doesn't alter the quality.

I have a Deco mesh system, which was working well. However, it suffered from stability issues from time to time (full bar signal but slow connection). I read that a poor quality / unsheilded cable between the modem and first deco could be to blame so ordered this and am pleased to say it has completely eradicated the problem. I went for Cat7 as it is sheilded and more than fast enough for my bb speeds (500mb/s). are so many brands on amazon now that it can be hard to understand what is good/poor quality. I am therefore glad that AmazonBasics continues to exist as I have found their products to be very dependable. This cable is no exception.

The cable runs from an unmanaged switch box to my tv to give wired internet connection rather than wireless. Fitted it seems to do the job as far as I can tell not being a technician.

Nice solid feeling ethernet cables which are super cheap especially for quality CAT 7 cables. I got 2 of them for work and home laptops and both of them are getting great and very consistent speeds. They clip in nice and tight and the connectors feel nice and solid compared to some where you look at them and the locking tab flies off.
