Good quality, didn't snap when bent. Don't buy the other kind of 1/8" brass.
I've purchased these 3 times and they are malleable unlike some others that might cost less. Some of the others snapped when bent. These didn't. I didn't need to heat them up. If you need to use and bend 1/8" diameter rods, you will be happy with these.

I've been looking for a while to find the brass rods for my projects. Just what I've been looking for.

A little larger than described
These are solid brass, and a great price. But they are slightly larger in diameter by a millimeter or so (7/64") so I can't use them for my intended project. I was going to return them, but then realized I can use them for another project. Just be forewarned that if you need exactly 3/32", these are not your rods.

Perfect for Special, Unique Dowel Pins
I do not recall the material specifics. They were not essential for my project. With that said, the Rods we're perfectly straight and the correct diameter. I would buy again. I needed a specific size and material to make unique dowel pins. These worked perfectly and polished very well, adding simple yet elegant accents to my project.

It is not brass. It is a cheap zinc alloy (may be pot metal) with yellow chromate coating. It fractures when bent, exposing whitish gray surface. It is fake. Never buy it.
