This is probably my 4th or 5th one; several have gone as gifts, and the rest grace my older vehicles. I loved these when they were $30-$40, but at $15 or so, they are incredible. I purchased a couple of other brands early on, but discovered several features that rendered them useless - they wouldn't return to the preset station every time you shut the vehicle off (so you had to reprogram them every time, no thanks) and wouldn't automatically start without pairing the Bluetooth. The X3 is seamless - you plug it in, pair it up (it will even find an "open" FM frequency for you), set one of your radio presets to that frequency, and once you (initially) pair the X3 with your phone, it works every time. As I say, I have one in multiple vehicles, and no matter which vehicle I am in, it starts when the car starts, and begins playing music from exactly where I left off. I don't have to press a button or do anything. I tend not to answer phone calls in the car or place them, but when I have done it through the stereo, it also works perfectly. I'm guessing that many of these devices now will automatically "pair up" and start - but this one has worked for me every time, for years now. In fact, I just gave one to a friend who has an older vehicle, and he was overjoyed at how easy it was to turn his old stereo into a fully compatible Bluetooth. And for $15, rather than a whole new stereo install? Easy choice. Some folks have concerns about the "straight stick" plug-in, so it is important to realize whether this model (as opposed to the more expensive goose-neck flexible model) will intrude into your dash or console in an awkward way, but that hasn't been an issue with me. In one car, it is inside the console compartment and still works flawlessly. In the others, it is in the outlet next to the console shifter and never interferes with any driving function. And you can charge your phone with it even while listening to tunes - mine all have the requisite lightning cable which I keep attached, so I can just plug it in when I start my car and get that extra few minutes of juice while I drive (and play tunes the whole time). If you get the sense I really like these, you are correct. My three vehicles are a 1970, a 1999, and a 2008, and none have an auxiliary input plug or Bluetooth. This works in all three.

This has been a nice purchase. I'm still not completely sold on the clarity of the device and fumbling through stations when one station starts to pick up signal and then this thing cuts out. I was expecting that though. I do like the compactness of this, as opposed to the larger version. This does connect upon entering your car if your Bluetooth on your device is turned on, and will start playing. If you have the money and time, I would suggest just putting in a new stereo in your car with the capabilities already there. Of course, that's not always an option though and this is a nice alternative. Just remember that clarity might be a bit lacking and you will have to change stations from time to time - on your stereo and your GOgroove.

Pros: The device works as described. Once you find a station with good reception, there is very little background static. Audio quality is fine, better than I expected, as long as you turn your phone's blue tooth volume up all the way. I had no issues pairing it with my Galaxy S4. Now when I start up the truck, it connects to my phone and starts playing music(most of the time). Cons: Occasionally it doesn't connect to the phone automatically and I have to unplug it and plug it back in for it to re-establish connection. As others have noted, the voice quality over the phone is not that great. But I didn't really buy it for making phone calls. You will need a magnifying glass to read the instruction manual. Overall it is a great device if you have an older vehicle with a radio that doesn't support Bluetooth audio. Not sure how sturdy it is but it comes with a 3 year warranty. I would recommend it to a friend.

I couldn't be more satisfied. I now have Bluetooth capability for hands free calling and Pandora or my own music from my phone. It literally took me less than a couple of minutes to set this up. It paired immediately and started playing my music. It syncs and remembers your volume settings each time you start your accessory power in your car. The quality is less than CD quality, I'd say it's about 7-8 out of 10 for comparison (depending on the quality of your radio tuner), but the convenience is undeniable. It's an inexpensive way to have modern technology in an older car without replacing the entire radio/cd head unit. The music sound is clear and the phone connection is more than acceptable. It will automatically mute the sound when you initiate or receive a call. I don't have to, but I still use the phone to start and end calls. It will also mute the music and broadcast my phone's map navigation/directions when I use it for traveling. It just works. It appears to be rugged, but I've only had it for a few weeks. It does have a three year guarantee. I purchased this one with the fixed neck so as not to have to bend and wear out the type with the flexible neck. Don't buy the cheap ones from China. This one works. I'll update with an extended report later.

Funziona bene ed è ben fatto, conforme alla descrizione. Lo uso tutt'ora! Funziona molto bene per chi ha un ingresso aux. Leggero ronzio se il bluetooth non sta trasmettendo ma in quel momento basta passare a radio o cd o spegnere

Détecte et se connecte (rapidement) automatiquement avec mes smartphones familial ( 100% compatible avec samsung mega, S4, S5 mini). Très bonne qualité audio à condition d'avoir une fréquence totalement libre. Lors des conversations téléphoniques le micro fonctionne bien et le son également. Il permet en même temps de recharger son gsm grâce à prise USB et si vous avez un MP3 classique sans connection bluetooth vous pouvez le connecter sur l'entrée "jack". Il permet d'utiliser les différentes fonctions ( lecture, pause, volume, avance et recul rapide et changement de piste audio) lors de l'écoute de vos musiques. Toutes ses fonctions dans un appareil compact ayant un beau disign et sans fils!!!!

Buen sonido y funcionamiento en comparación con otros transmisores FM más económicos. Envío correcto en tiempo y forma. Incluye cable aux. audio 3,5mm y cable USB para carga de terminales.

Pas encore utilisé (pas d'appel), mais apparemment ça devrait fonctionner. L'appairage m'a semblé facile, la recherche de station libre aussi, reste à savoir si la radio se coupe lorsqu'on reçoit un appel ou qu'on essaie d'appeler quelqu'un ?

Buena compra. Buena calidad de sonido, a pesar de ser modulador FM, es decir, pierde calidad sí o sí por ir por FM. No le pongo 5 estrellas, porque alguna vez ha cortado el bluetooth, pero no sé si es por mi móvil o por qué. Aún así, estoy más que contento con el modulador bluetooth.
