Stainless Steel Mixing Bowls with Lids Set – Large, Durable, Airtight Kitchen Bowls for Food Prep, Baking, Salad, and Storage (4 piece set)

Had these bowls for a year now and have been feeling guilty from time to time about not reviewing the order because this is the type of company that should continue to do what it does: that is produce a quality product that is both flawless and beautiful. It's solid, and still maintains a shine a year later, the bottom weight is efficient, and most important the rubber around the bottom part of the bowl is still strongly adhering to the stainless steel. No water ever gets in like some other poorly made bowls. Appreciate a company that wants to do it right rater than just take your money. They may be a bit more expensive but it looks like they'll wear a lifetime. I enjoy using them.

What I like about this mixing bowl set is the quality period, they are very high quality stainless steel, I like the Silicone bottoms on these stainless mixing bowls, so much easier mixing while the bowls stay in place, they are a nice gauge thickness and not heavy, I bought the 3 mixing bowl set with lids 1.5qt,3qt,5qt see attached pictures, I am not being paid to write this review, I looked at several different mixing bowls before buying this set, 1st picture shown without lids so you can see inside bowls, 2nd picture shows lids just sitting on top of bowls, lids seal really well when pushed down on the bowls, I needed a 5qt mixing bowl for when I mix up pizza dough for multiple pizza’s .. No Kidding if you are looking for a very well made and high quality mixing bowl set look no farther, and at a great price on Amazon !! Thank You BELLEMAIN

Three pieces decent stainless steel and good price

I switched from heavy duty plastic to these stainless steel bowls. I really only wanted 3, but most sets had 5 or more. I also wanted lids for when my dough is rising or cookie dough is chilling. This set had 4, and it turns out that they're perfect for me. I didn't think I'd use the smallest one much, and yet I use it regularly. Two of them to have scratch marks inside from whipping up meringues or anything else I use a whisk for; however, that's the nature of stainless steel. The outsides still look elegant. The only problem I had was that under the rim of the largest one, I'd get some black "soot" (for lack of a more accurate word). I'm sure it's from the machine process that folds the steel over--it never affected the inside--just outside where my index finger curled under the rim to stabilize the bowl. That said, it took several washings, but it has finally washed away. The second largest bowl had some too, but it was fine after the second wash. I have a love/hate relationship with the silicone bottoms. Some days, I think they're the greatest because I can use my electric mixer with one hand and add ingredients with the other and not have the bowl spin around. Other times, when I'm trying to spin the bowl with one hand to fold ingredients together, it won't easily spin. lol Overall, I prefer the silicone though. Oh, the base of the second largest bowl had distorted somehow so that it was more convex than concave. I pressed it against the counter and that popped it back into place...but also created suction, so it was an interesting experience getting it unsuctioned without making the bottom pop back to convex. It hasn't done that again, but it was just worth noting. These are great, high quality bowls that also happen to be quite attractive.

UPDATE: I still love my bowls but when the metal is in the fridge with the lid, the lids no longer keep an airtight seal (darn it). After a terrible experience with a famous brand of bowls that were in a nice array of colors, I decided to try the Bellemain line and it is a world of difference. Because their lids fit, they serve as way more than mixing bowls, they are storage and serving bowls as well. When I put out the pasta I had made the night before, i just opened the lid and let people grab what they wanted to warm up and add sauce - the sauce was in the smallest bowl. I will avoid using the name Feista to identify the set I had that doesn't hold a candle to this line. From the quality of the nonstick service to it's ability to hold up in the dishwasher. You won't regret owning these...I do have one complaint that goes to this kind of mixing bowl - please consider a way to make them fit into each other WITH the lids intact. Since these lids tighten by going on the inner rim of the bowl it will be a design puzzle but boy would it change the game on these. Not worth removing a star but definitely something I KNOW people would want. Don't let anything stop you from getting a beautiful stainless steel (that means no aluminum) set of mixing bowls as they will be with you for a long time to come.

Good quality

These perfected it all. Regular mixing bowls slide around. The tough non-slip bottom prevents that. They nest well within each other, saving space. They look good, and because they're steel, remove just one more plastic interface with our everyday food. The lids are extremely useful. No more struggling to get saran wrap to make an airtight seal, these come with that, making good storage containers.

High quality with lids that seal properly.

Love these bowls. Was surprised how big the large one was but I have found it very handy. Love the lids for easy stacking storage in the fridge but also when transporting food. Very happy with my purchase.

Estos bowls son de muy buena calidad y de buen acabado, los tamaños son ideales para varias preparaciones, ayuda que tengan tapa ya que algunas veces necesito guardar en refrigerador por unas horas alguna preparación y la tapa ayuda a mantener la preparación en el bowl si que exista peligro de que se bote.
