UP2WIN C Dough Hook K5ADH, Kitchen Mixer Dough Hook for 5-QT Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer Compatible with Kitchen Mixer Aid Model KSM50 KSM5-K5SS

I was happy to find this dough hook that could be used with an older kitchen aid mixer. I was fairly certain I could find the parts I needed for a kitchen aid mixer that was from the 1960's, and sure enough, the attachments fit perfectly and worked well. I got this mixer at an estate sale, and it's great that kitchen aid makes the parts for older models. Kitchen aid mixers last for so long, it's nice to know that parts are available, and not obsolete!

I immediately tested out my replacement dough hook on my Kitchen Aid mixer. The fit and mechanics were perfect. It is a different shape then my former one, but that does not hinder its effectiveness. It does the job. I also very much like that the white protective coating is inside where the hook attaches to the mixer. Much cleaner. To top it off, the hook arrived so quickly.

I have a kitchen aide I have had for over 20 years. It's bowl is shallower than the newer ones and this hook is too deep for my bowl. It arrived promptly and was in good condition, but ultimately I returned it.

The door hooks are very nice but I thought they were priced too high and plus I end up ordering the wrong size they were too big for my Mixer. That’s why I had to send them back. Thank you I’m going to keep one I believe but send the other one back on another side they’re only about six or seven dollars and these were $12. I thought that was a little bit expensive.

FOLLOW Up: the replacement arrived with another chip in it. I would give this company no stars if I could. Unfortunately, there is no other door hook that fits my older model KitchenAid. I don’t know who actually sells this, but it comes from UP2WIN store Who obviously does not check the product they are sending out. This is a huge disappointment as again I cannot find one for my KitchenAid but buyer beware from this company I needed to replace the original dough hook because the finish was chipped. It took me hours of searching to find the one that would work with our older kitchenaid mixer and were forced to get another dough hook with a white finish (totally unable to find a stainless steel dough hook for our model. I am looking to replace this and will write another review with the follow up on that effort.

My wife misplaced the C dough hook that came with her KitchenAid 5.5 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer and I found this to be a good replacement. Now, I am waiting for her to find the one she misplaced. Isn't that how that works..
