Okay so this urn pendant is stunning. It is heavy, but in my opinion the weight next to my chest feels nice. It’s like I know he is with me when I wear it. The size is nice and it does hold a substantial amount of cremains. I did change out the chain that the pendant came with to something more beefy to support the weight. I do have one issue. I have been wearing the necklace for 3 days and where it sits on my chest I have developed a slight rash. I do have sensitive skin but this has never happened. I plan on painting the pendant with clear fingernail polish to combat this issue. Until then I will wear it over my clothing. Just something to consider if you have certain sensitivity or allergies. All in all, I love it and it brings me joy and comfort.

This is so beautiful! It does not hold many ashes, but it left enough to fill my small urn. The item is for my dad who recently passed away and the majority of the ashes are with my mom.

I never thought I was going to be the type to want to have some kind of cremains jewelry. Then somebody very special to me died, and ... suddenly I found myself looking at cremains jewelry. And that's when I bought this. Are the product photos in the product page accurate? Yes. The product looks nice. Is it heavy, as others said? Yes. According to my postage scale, it weighs in at 0.9 oz - which doesn't sound like much, until it's concentrated ina single item that measures about 1.5" x 1/2". The heaviness feels like being more aware that it's there. This combination of very heavy pendant coupled with a thin chain is the only reason I took 1 star off the review; I would like it a little lighter. Is the chain flimsy? Mmmm... it looks like it might be, considering the weight of the pendant. But I've pulled on it quite a bit to test it, and while I feel like it SHOULD hold up, I think I might opt to buy a slightly heavier/stronger necklace to put the pendant on - just in case! (Also, the ratio of the thinness of the chain vs the heaviness of the pendant - the pendant would benefit aesthetically from a heavier chain. How much cremains does it hold? Not that much, actually. It comes with a little tiny funnel about the size of your fingernail, a tiny screwdriver, and a pin-like thing to help get the cremains funneled down into the pendant. I thought for the size it would hold more, but it held maybe one filling of the tiny funnel worth of cremains. Not a huge amount, but enough to feel like you're carrying your loved one with you. I would recommend doing what I did to prevent the screw from falling out - once I was satisfied with having filled the pendant, I used a single drop of Super Glue and then screwed the plug in place - now it will definitely stay in place! Overall, pleased with this purchase.
