These were great to fit light fittings. Made putting up 3 sets of ceiling lights so much easier. Just put the wires in and lock them. Compact and flat so easily fitted into the ceiling rose. Obviously you still need to know what you are doing so if in doubt please consult an electrician

These are a solid off brand connection block product that are serving me well. They can be reopened and reused just fine but I did break a fingernail doing it, so be careful

Used these when wiring up lights in large loft requiring 3 gang and 4 gang connections including earth. Working overhead in cramped spaces. Used a wiring box to collect wires and connections together. So much quicker and easier that using traditional screwed junction box. Don’t get frustrated if wire not captured immediately probably means you need to push in wire further to produce secure lock. Boxes used were 2 x IP55 Waterproof Junction Boxes, IP55 Dustproof Weatherproof Electrical Project Box, Universal Surface Mounted Enclosure Box for Indoor Outdoor Electrical Cables (85x85x50mm) – AVARTEK. Needed insulation tape round edge to make sure top could not get knocked off.

I have battled with standard block screw terminals for years ramming wires into one screw hole only to have one pull out and force me to start again. These are not so cheap, depending on the postage charge, but they are worth it. I have used several so far as both temporary and permanent connectors and they do exactly what you hope they will do. Easy to use and re-use (you can remove wires if you open the cam fully) I wish I'd had some years ago.

I used to use WAGO connectors for various tasks including wiring up my 3D printers and for quickly insulating unused live electrical connections. These connectors worked great however they were quite expensive for what they were. I was very happy when I found out that there are cheaper alternatives out there such as this kit that work almost identically for a fraction of the price. This kit includes a variety of different sized connectors useful for different jobs. Simply strip about 1cm of insulation from the wire, pull up the lever, insert the wire and pull the lever back down. The wires are very secure and make a good connection.

Very good and convenient product wether a keen diy,er or an electrician but defo a very handy thing to have aswell as decent quality

TIP:If you are a professional or amateur DIYer, you need these in your toolbox. TIP:. Mark the blocks with a Blue, Brown or Green/yellow pen to indicate the terminal they are holding. TIP: these are great for safely insulating live wires not currently in use or for live electrical work. I bought these blocks as part of my new kitchen upgrade and needed to connect some cables. A friend recommended them to me so I gave them a go. They make connecting wires so easy. Strip 1cm from the wires Open connector tabs Push in wires of same polarity Push down connector tabs. Sinceramente, una de las mejores compras para hacer tu instalación electrica, es mucho más rápido, facil y seguro utilizar estas clemas para conectar cables eléctricos. Es cierto que su precio es un poco elevado, pero si solo necesitas hacer una instalación vale la pena invertir en la comodidad que ofrecen! Buen producto.

Ho visto la prima volta morsetti simili a questi comprando una plafoniera asiatica e mi son detto cavoli sono utilissimi, magari averli avuti quando mettevo i portalampade provvisori nell'appartamento vuoto da imbiancare, invece ho sempre utilizzato il nastro isolante o nella migliore delle ipotesi i morsetti mammuth. Questi invece sono tutta un altra storia, più sicuri perchè non c'è nessuna parte conducente esposta, più veloci da applicare e rimuovere perchè si alza la levetta, si infila il cavo e si riabbassa la levetta, tra l'alto alzare la levetta richiede l'impiego di una discreta forza e quindi è impossibile che si aprano accidentalmente e una volta inserito il cavo è impossibile sfilarlo. C'è anche una piccola fessura in cui si può inserire il cacciavite cercafase per fare il test Le dimensioni sono un po generose e quindi potrebbero non starci ovunque ma nel mio caso li ho utilizzati facilmente in una plafoniera e per l'illuminazione di uno specchio da bagno. Sono comodissimi e non credo riuscirò più a farne a meno nei miei piccoli lavoretti di casa. PS: per i poco esperti come me, ad ogni fase ci vuole un morsetto.
