Works just fine
I use this adaptor on a Ham Radio, FT991A, to connect with heil headphones and a footswitch. Use it every week and for as long as its been its been working well.

If you need a headset cable this is the one to have
I have standardized on Radiohead set for all of my radios and simply use the appropriate adapter cable to connect them on. Heil Brand products are the Cadillac of radio accessories
