Does it need to be lifted out or does it pull out sideways?** A: You don’t have to remove it, just pour water in from a jug (ideally a filter jug). It would be too heavy to lift when full of water. Having said that, if you’re having a cappuccino (with a large volume of warm, frothy milk) it’s not a bad idea to warm your cup just before delivery. **Q: Does power cable comes with UK plug?** A: Yes **Q: Does This machine make flat whites** A: Yes, and very nice too ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent coffee machine, pleased with my upgrade choice *by J***S on 30 January 2022* Recently upgraded my home coffee machine from a DeLonghi Cafe Corso to this Siemens EQ.500 machine. Main reason to upgrade was the temperature of the coffee from the DeLonghi was fading, despite often descaling, and also the crema on the coffee was almost non-existent after a couple of years of usage.Have now had the Siemens EQ.500 for about 2 months and i'm delighted with it. The range of coffee options, including automated milk frother is a real plus, although I mostly drink Cafe Crema. The range of options for each drink is excellent, drink size in ML, and strength options including doubleshot.The ability to use a Brita water filter in the water tank is key, especially where I live having hard water, and i believe this is why I'm not seeing any drop in temperature of the drinks. With the previous machine, it was noticeable after descaling within a few weeks. The Siemens is performing extremely well, coffee is excellent quality and the taste is noticeably better.The only downside i would say is the water tray needs emptying daily, but no big deal, and I also find the whole set up easier than my previous machine in terms of cleaning. The fact that Siemens also sell cleaning and descaling tablets make the whole process of maintaining straight forward, and also that there is a steam clean for the milk dispenser is also excellent.Highly recommend this coffee machine, its not cheap, nor the most expensive, i hope that it continues performing to this standard for a good few years! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gorgeous Coffee *by M***H on 22 January 2021* Fantastic coffee machine, easy to use with lots of drink choices.
