Classic Iron Stone Pocket Lighter

Unfortunately the 'Iron Stone' lighter does not have a rough surface like the 'Black Crackle' lighter - As I had mistakenly hoped. But the lighter is exactly as pictured. I haven't used it yet so I can't comment on long lasting durability. However, I repacked the wick and cotton. And as far as I can tell the lighter is perfectly fine. For anyone who isn't aware - It's not uncommon for Zippos to have discoloration on the inside of their case. But it doesn't mean the lighter is used. It's just a result of how the lighters are made. Also Zippos are never shipped with fuel inside of them - Regardless of where you buy your Zippo. Shipping new Zippos empty are a safety precaution and the fuel would just evaporate anyway. You can buy fluid for your lighter here on Amazon. There's many videos on YouTube about Zippos - How to fill them with fluid, How to replace a flint or wick, How to store Zippos long term etc. Lastly if your Zippos won't function properly, you can ship it to Zippo and they'll repair it for free.

This zippo design looks great. The product always works as intended and I have had no problems with the hinges.

Hey! What can I say? It's a Zippo! I have been using them for decades and will continue to do so. Great lighters, always have been, always will be. Yes, they require "maintenance"- filling them with fluid, putting in new flints when necessary, but are SO dependable....and even when it's windy they always light, many times just using one hand. And there is nothing that sounds like a Zippo, a very distinctive, and yes, a 'calming' sound when opened and closed. For dependability, distinctively, a huge choice of colors and designs always available, a very useful device even for non-smokers; there is nothing better out there, IMHO, than a Zippo! And yes, I always recommend them to my friends, even those who still insist on using those cheap, flimsy, will not work in very cold or wet weather plastic butane models. And yes, I will allow them to use my Zippo when theirs fail, which they do, often. ;-)

Pictures posted were a month or two later sorry didn’t get any photos from when I first got it, sooo I got a funny story about this lighter so I went to store I didn’t realize I dropped this lighter hadn’t noticed it being missing coz ya know lighters always get lost didn’t think anything of it until I went back to the store a week later parked in the same spot and was looking on the floor because I usually do for no particular reason but to my surprise it was on the floor I was like whattttttt is that my lighter hadn’t noticed it being lost like wow could have been gone forever if someone saw it Haha I guess no one noticed it there it blended in with the pavement so yeah pretty magical lighter lol very giftable and durable great quality.

i really like how unique this zippo is. i would say iron stone is an accurate description of the feel of this lighter. i thought it would be a little rough textured and therefore good for tricks but it is probably the smoothest of my lighters just cause it doesn't conduct cold very well and stick to your fingers like many of my metal zippos do. i like the look and feel of it a lot. mainly because it is not the zippo u would think of as an example in ur head such as a brushed chrome traditional zippo. all i really need to say is that it will always be one of my favorites.

This is a great Zippo. Has not shown to get scratches, like can be seen in glossy silver or brass Zippos. Great lighter - Zippos are always great, of course, but this also has a cool look. Glad I bought it.

No sé ha abollado y me ha funcionado bien.

Modello con finitura molto particolare, sembra quasi una pietra (leggermente ruvida al tatto, non al livello del black crackle per intendersi) Sembra non soffrire di usura superficiale come le versioni con case lucido, il che, per chi come me ha l’abitudine di tenerlo “sciolto” in tasca, non è di poco conto. Molto soddisfatto!

Great neat little Zippo. I replaced the insert with a gas powered one (also Zippo branded) and it works great.
