Great product, very comfortable, cleans easy!!

I work in assisted living so I am pretty much educated on senior safety products. I had knee surgery so I wanted to purchase one. I saw the cushioned, which I never tried. My residents have the hard seat. Although comfortable, this is dangerous for seniors. When you’re seated, it isn’t level and it feels so off. I do not recommend! I am going to purchase the one I should have from the beginning. A shame I can’t return, as I have used it. Waste of money

This is a good item to have when you are a wheel hair user. I am not able to stand properly so this item is useful when I sit on public commode ti give me some height to keep me from popping on commode be cause my knees and legs are very weak and when I end them I plop because lack of control and I don't hurt myself due to the thickness of this item. The only flaw is if the cushion is not put on commode correctly it will slide or move and cause me to hurt myself.

Bought this to help add just a little more lift to a toilet for my dad. We sat on it in a kitchen chair and it went completely flat. So, maybe it’s good for just cushioning if your seat is concrete. But if you wanted a 4” cushion that stayed anywhere close to 2-4” after sitting in it, you will be disappointed. Never took it out of package because it’s kinda worthless to us. My brother said it looks like an awesome neck pillow tho.

I had hip replacement surgery and needed something like this. After much review I decided on this and was so glad I did. It worked great. Took some getting used to but any riser would. Very comfortable and easy to clean. Definitely would recommend and buy again. Great value and a great product.

182lbs is fine to use 4 inches foam high pad. Something better than nothing to help the person had not much meat on buttocks area . Good to try.

When I needed a colonoscopy, I was most anxious about how my bad back would fare, spending hours at a time on the toilet. This got the best reviews for adding comfort to an existing toilet seat, so despite the negative reviews, I bought it. Thanks to other reviews, I knew it would compress when I sat down (making the opening much smaller), so I purposely held the seat wide as I sat, so I didn’t have an issue with- um- stuff getting on it. I just didn’t attach it to the seat. My complaint is that it doesn’t give sufficient cushioning. I felt it while it was sealed and thought the foam was fairly dense, but as soon as I took it out of the wrapping, it was about as cushy as a piece of lunch meat. Yes, it was definitely better than a hard seat, but it was not as cushiony as I’d hoped and thought it was when I felt it while sealed. If they made this with a denser foam, it would be great, at least for short-term use (like colonoscopy prep or when recovering from a medical procedure or issue), but they should make the inner part more rigid so it doesn’t close in so much. It does seem like the material would clean fairly well, if this is your only option for longer use, although I won’t need it for another ten years, thank goodness, so as much as I hate contributing to the landfills and buy-it-and-chuck-it habit, I indeed threw it out. I didn’t need it for rising (as it mentions in the description and on the package), but that’s ridiculous for it to claim it will help. This certainly won’t elevate you 2”, and I would be surprised if it elevates even half an inch, so your money would be much better spent at a medical supply store or for an actual toilet seat riser. it compresses nearly flat as soon as you sit down, so it doesn’t provide any lift at all, if that’s what you’re looking for.

this may be just right for some..not for me... to me it is like sitting on a marshmellows..I only weight 109 lbs ands it quishes from about 4in to 2 ins and the straps that should hold it to the seat stick together to tightly it isVERY difficult prying them apart...to clean and sometimes need to put cover down... I never felt comfortable sitting down and getting up!!! I ordered a 4" to ease getting up and down however squished does not make for confidence for getting up and down without possibly slipping to floor.

It's exactly as it looks and is very comfortable and very well built. also has a outside zipper so you can take off the cover and wash it. it's really good. I love it

I liked being able to sit on my toilet during cold winter days and nights.The seat is different from what is available in Australia where the seat is a complete oval. I tried it with the attached straps and found it hard to position it so as not to dirty it but decided to to use it WITHOUT the straps so as to get a "mess free" operation. The price including postage from the US was about $30 (Aus) than in Australia.
