I use these in random small gadgets around the house, and for emergencies. They work great in my Portable Can Opener, TV remotes, Smoke Detector, Wireless Mouse & Wireless Keyboard, and Digital Alarm Clock. I use them for more than I realized. Also I keep these in all of my emergency gear & kits like Flashlights & Emergency Strobe Lights, since they last forever before losing any charge. These batteries by Amazon Basics have an impressive 5 year shelf life. Despite what the competitors might say, Amazon Basic's Batteries are some of the absolute best on the market for the price point. These batteries are the best 'bang for your buck' available im my opinion.

These are great for medium use, remote control type stuff or wall clock, but they will run down quick if you use them with something that demands more power like a wireless lapel mic… so not reliable for live production because they will fail in less than an hour show. But oddly enough they last months in a automatic chicken coup door… and even longer in a remote control.

They've been an excellent value. I received 300 AA batteries for less than $50. These are mainly used in Xbox controllers Roku remotes walkie talkies and CB radios. I would definitely say these batteries are comparable to name brand. My son told me to stop lying the batteries from the family Dollar general Dollar tree. I previously bought the great value batteries which worked just as well as these but these batteries from Amazon or sold at a much better price. I'll definitely buy another pack of these Amazon basics batteries. I will be buying a big box of AAA as well.
