Perfect fit for my M-Audio Nova, sturdy and reliable
I picked up this Boseen Universal Microphone Shock Mount to use with my M-Audio Nova mic which is a pretty solid podcast microphone. Got the mic for a steal at a thrift store but couldn’t actually mount it on my boom arm without something like this. This shock mount did the job perfectly, it fits the Nova’s size, make sure you check your mic diameter, this one fits 47–53mm, and the build is solid metal, not flimsy plastic. Mounts easily to standard boom arms and was a compatible fit with my microphone just double check measurements before you buy it. Performance: Vibration reduction: The elastic bands really do help with shock absorption. If I accidentally bump my desk or the boom arm, it doesn’t blast noise into my recording major improvement over using just a bare clip. Durability: I’ve had this for well over a year now and it’s still going strong. No stretching or snapping of the bands, no rust or issues with the metal parts, nothing’s loosened up. Ease of use: Once you get it installed, it just works. It’s not the boom arm that’s holding up the mic—it’s the shock mount doing all the heavy lifting. Bottom line: If you need to add a mic to your boom arm and want something that’ll last, this is a solid investment. Just make sure you double-check your microphone’s diameter before ordering. For the price, it’s way better quality than I expected—honestly better than some of the expensive “name brand” ones I’ve used before.

Great shock mount for the Rode NT2.
Fits my Rode NT2 perfectly. The price is so reasonable. The shock mount elastic bands are night and taught. The entire shock mount does feels very stable. And two extra elastic bands included. Very good deal. Update : <2026-03-22> The diameters are a bit larger than what is required to clutch the microphone really snug. I used this tape (amazon.com/dp/B0D8PHQZRZ)to layer the inside of the existing inner circular pad to basically reduce the inner diameter by 1/8 inch and its perfect snug now...

Great Value, Works For Any Mic
Using this with a larger sized broadcast mic, the MXL BCD-1, and it helped get some of the resonating frequencies from my boom arm out of my signal when playing games. I enjoy how versatile this clamp is, it can work with something as small as a standard instrument or vocal mic, up to a full size broadcasting mic. Extra parts being included as well is a nice touch

Effective, but noticeably cheap
I purchased this unit for use with an Electro-Voice RE20 and it fits perfectly. The microphone is held in place via friction from the inner foam ring, which is sufficient to keep the mic solidly in place during use, while still remaining light enough not to add much weight to this already heavy microphone. The materials don't feel particularly pleasant to handle, but at this price, that is to be expected. The included stand adapter was a tight fit, and I was unable to fully secure it to the shock mount with my hands. The unit works well, noticeably rejecting table and handling noise while using my microphone. For an RE20/RE320/RE27 user, this unit is a good value for those who aren't ready to splurge another $100+ on the first-party mount or the more reasonably sized Heil mount, though you may still want to consider upgrading to one of those in the future due to the low quality materials and questionable longevity of this unit.

Excellent option for the Electrovoice RE20
I am running the Elgato wave low profile setup. It is a spectacular combination. The mic fits right in and stays on the arm. The knuckle is strong and the mic does not droop down. I did not even have to adjust extra pressure to the gas arm to hold the weight of the mic and the mic and the shock mount. I needed to have the room to be able to type and move around the desk without desk and vibration noise. I was going to go with the Electro Voice shock mount but it is over 100 and so large that it would impact the space when I turn the arm around while not in use. I highly recommend this shock mount because it fits easily and absorbs all the vibrations from the desk.

Works with my Audio Technica 4050
Works with my Audio Technica 4050, which is pretty fat. Glad it does, because a genuine replacement is ninety bucks. This one is plastic instead of metal, but i doubt that will ever matter. There's no instructions, but i figured out it works like a spring loaded clamp. there are 2 metal arms you squeeze to open it wide enough to slide the mic in.

Why three stars? Fit!
Well made, but, unlike others of this type that I've bought, this one does NOT close tight enough to work with mics like the Baby Bottle and Spark - both from Blue microphones. EVERY other shockmount of this type that I've bought has a SMALLER compression ring. This one is just a little too large in diameter to work with many microphones.

Minimal Design With Good Tension
This paired with a Gator Frameworks Ball/Socket Adapter, made for good support and adjustment on my boom arm. Almost had to tighten the arm with vice grips, because of the RE320 weight, but as far as the mount itself it fit exceptionally well for my application. I didn't want to overspend on a mount nor use a large clunky one either. Just wanted to keep it as minimal as possible and this one worked aces. Nice that it comes with 2 spare rubber bands.

I bought this for my Rode Procaster. The brand name one is huge, it probably does a better job due to the size and quality but it gets in the way when on the computer. This is nice and compact and works fine for voice. It's made of metal which I was looking for. The padding on the inside that touches the Mic is nice quality foam making sure you don't scratch the Mic. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. The quality seems worth the price.

Holding my RE320 like a champ. Lives up to it’s purpose. Removed the squeeze hooks once I got the mic in place to eliminate rattles.
