Since its not meat but made from soya beans I dont even know how the "halal" question arises.

On the box it is no where mentioned non gmo, but on the product amazon description, it did say non gom, is this really a non gmo ??or cheating customs

Is this the same thing as textured vegetable protein (tvp)? i'm not seeing a picture for the granules.
