Yes!!! We had about 12 different people ranging from 12-50 years old in there! It held up so well and was such a fun purchase. We kept it and are ready to use it again soon!

would a 3 to 4 year old fit in there

Yes. They would fit, I bought it for my 7 year old nephew who has brain cancer and trouble sitting upright. Once we got him in he was stable in it and fit fine. The wrap around feature kept him supported. Overall it was great and actually lasted all season with no holes. Tube to pool for squirt gun could be longer but that is it.
