Drew Men's Aaron Comfortable Walking Shoe with Extra Depth

Extremely good support. Strong construction with good materials. Two insoles all custom fit with or without use of orthotics. Nice looking, too. Note that sizing in description can be confusing: (I use size 8 as example) 8W = 8EE, 8-X = 8EEE, 8-XX= 8EEEEEE. For the price I paid this was a most excellent value but price varies depending on size and color.

The Drew Aaron sneaker is superb. I now have three pair. The fit is excellent. Since Drew makes orthopedic shoes the toe box on this sneaker provides great width and height. This is further adjustable with the insole system - see below. It takes about a few hours of walking to break them in; flexing the insole near where the ball of the foot is located speeds the breakin. I wore this pair for 2+ miles a couple days after receiving them. Drew provides a two-part insole to adjust the amount of cushioning. They also affect the height of the toe box. These provide very good support although as with most of my shoes I replace the insole with a Powerstep Protech Control Full Length Orthotics size: K - M14-14.5 orthotic. These shoes came with a good length shoe lace although it was black and white. To give the shoe a less sporty look I changed the laces to solid black laces OrthoStep Oval Athletic Black 48 inch Shoelaces 2 Pair Pack . These black leather shoes have a very soft leather outer and a lining that I find really comfortable. A note on the product picture! To me the picture almost looks more like gray than black. The shoes are definitely black! Very highly recommended for walking.

After only about 6 months of general use these shoes are already worn out and no longer a viable walking shoe. The outer edges of the soles are significantly sloped and the inner heal fabric is worn through. They were stable and comfortable the first 5 months but went downhill quickly after that. For the $175 price-tag I'm sure I can find a better quality shoe to replace them. These will be relegated to working in the garage as that's about all they're good for now.

I won't complain about the shoes because I have a lot of problems with my feet (Charcot Foot). I ordered a 10M and the length is perfect but the width is pretty narrow. I have skinny and narrow feet and the M, so if your feet are wide, definitely get something wider. The quality of the shoe is great. They're a little bit tall due to the soles but it's a comfortable fit and works for my orthotic insoles. The soles have great grip on slippery surfaces and the heel cup feels solid and extra supportive.

I have had Drew shoes before from other sites, the joy of buying on amazon is the free shipping and easy returns. I already know my exact size and width since I had these shoes before so buying them was easy. Drew makes a great pair of shoes, the last pair I had of these lasted me almost four years of everyday general use before reaching the point of needing new insoles, the shoe its self is fine and I will use them to work in the yard. I have not found quality like this in very many places.

I bought a pair of these years ago and they fit great. So, i bought these which are the same shoe recently and they are horribly uncomfortable. The insole is terrible and the shoes seems to get tighter as you wear them. Garbage. So now im facing throwing these in the trash for $150. Don’t waste your money.

I really appreciate the fact that you have a shoe like this in a B width (narrow). This size becomes increasingly difficult to find. Many sell only sell widths of medium or wide. Neither of these sizes ever fit my feet. Thanks for a great product!

These are excellent in terms of support for high arch feet. Great fit and super durable. My feet finally feel better in these after wearing them all day long while standing on hard surfaces like cement and tile
