What power supply will I need to purchase with this set? Or is that included?

Normally when you purchase a full train set the power supply is included. If you wish to run multiple train sets there are power supply's that will allow for multiple sets on the one power supply, there by eliminating a power supply for each set, the multiple power supply will have to be purchased separately. Yes, it contains an 18" curved terminal retailer.

Can this be used with piers abd added to existing oval track?

The Bachmann easy track snaps together without the use of any tools, if you want to add EZ track to an existing oval track and it is ez track then they are compatable and can be added. If you need pliers then you are trying to mix track pieces that are not compatible.
