Review: Ideal for the French omelette. Persistent non-stick. - I've used the most expensive and the cheapest non-stick skillets, and this one is excellent. I don't bang it around like a cast iron and I'm very deliberate with using only wood or silicone and no ripping heat on a dry skillet. You shouldn't do that stuff even on the non-sticks that claim you can; that coating eventually fails. It's perfectly non-stick after many months of frequent usage and is the perfect size for a 3-egg omelette. The construction is excellent and the heating is completely uniform. Easy to clean with just the soft side of a sponge.

**Q: How is it with warping?**
A: Had this several months and use it for eggs, omelets, saute veges so never too hot. No warping at all. Which would be obvious on my induction range

**Q: What is it coated with? Pufas or other chemicals? Is it ceramic?**
A: I did a little research into the company. The non-stick "coating" on this is actually a proprietary glass enamel that is actually baked into the metal. Obviously they're not going to share their process, but as far as I have found, there are none of the traditional chemicals you might find on lower end non-stick pans.

**Q: Is this made of cast aluminum?**
A: This is a hard anodized aluminum base with non stick coating according to Le Creuset's website:

I've used the most expensive and the cheapest non-stick skillets, and this one is excellent. I don't bang it around like a cast iron and I'm very deliberate with using only wood or silicone and no ripping heat on a dry skillet. You shouldn't do that stuff even on the non-sticks that claim you can; that coating eventually fails. It's perfectly non-stick after many months of frequent usage and is the perfect size for a 3-egg omelette. The construction is excellent and the heating is completely uniform. Easy to clean with just the soft side of a sponge.
